Lealans Garden Centre

Last time I visited this place, it was rundown and it's plants were mediocre to shabby. I was therefore surprised and pleased to see that in the many years of avoiding Lealans someone has ploughed an enormous amount of money and time in bringing it to a much higher standard. The place is now bright and clean and the quality of their plants is exceptional. The variety is huge and they are well kept which is always a bonus for the customer. The staff were friendly and very helpful, applying Covid-19 government guidelines effectively. It will definitely be a stop in the future for our gardening needs.

Fantastic range of flowers at fairly reasonable prices. Their starts are highly recommended. We recently bought slate gravel for a pathway we made in our back garden and it looks amazing for the price we paid for the bags of slate. Their flower rooms are beautifully arranged and I asked a member of staff for help, they are always friendly and obliging. We love visiting here for our plants and compost.

Always got a selection of good plants, kept watered and deheaded, and pathways maintained, unlike some of the other garden centres, this is a real nursery.

They sell a wide range of products, from plants to Christmas decorations and gardening equipment. However, people need to be very aware of their returns policy. Unless the product is faulty, they DO NOT allow refunds. They allow exchanges or credit notes but NOT refunds. This should be prominently displayed around the shop, on the website and on their Facebook page, but it is not. It has to be hunted for. The most prominent place it is displayed is at the bottom of the recipt - so you have to buy something before you discover you cannot return it. We purchased a Christmas tree base surround and it was fractionally too small to fit over the feet because of some of the wicker sticking out. This was not a good enough reason for a refund. It is clearly a money-grabbing exercise. Add to this the fact that the customer service is and always has been non-existent for the many years I've been going, it is no longer a place I would go to spend my money, especially when there are a number of other garden centres within the same area.

Great selection of Christmas trees at affordable prices. Really helpful staff

Staff are always pleasant and welcoming. They have a nice Christmas Display if you get a chance go.

There are 3 good garden centres on this road, at each one you are spoilt for choice.Also 2good pubs The Fox and think other one is The Arms at ShipleyA great way to spend a day

Used to be fantastic for plants but just spent £60 on plants and each and every one has been pot bound. Waste of money.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor plants & furniture to choose from at this garden centre.There are three garden centres in close proximity but this one had the most choice when we visited.There's plenty of parking & the staff were very helpful.
