What a fantastic walk, go down to the river and look at the history, such a great walk from roslin chapel you can do, a big loop.

This is such a nice relaxing walk, it wasn’t too far from the car park and it’s fairly easy. Once you reach the mills there’s a nice resting point by the water. Totally recommend this walk!

Short walk from Roslin city centre and the chapel. Walk leads beside the river and is very enjoyable and pleasant with nature around and occasional fellow walker/hiker. If you're driving, there's a car park about 150 from gunpowder factory gates so you can still enjoy the walk.

Good walk along the North Esk plenty of great views and history to see. Worth taking one of the guided walks by the rangers.

Quite historic but if you go on an adventure, there are some cool caves and tunnels to find. Careful though!

Love walking down there always different everytime i go, water and old ruins make it an awesome place for kids to explore and play. Visit regularly!

Lovely walk to it great to see anytime of the year.Loads of wildlife and history to be seen from the car park to the gunpowder mills.
