Katie is a highly professional chemistry tutor, who knows tiny details from exam boards specifications which are often overlooked by chemistry teachers.She knows how to explain topics and 6 marks questions in a way that is easy to understand. I never had to ask her to repeat her explanation or make it simpler. Her explanations are always straightforward and provide everything that you need to know for your exams. In addition, she knows tricks how to solve time consuming-questions (for example, electron configuration and explanation questions) in a minute or two.I fully recommend Katie for anybody who has any issues understanding chemistry or just struggling to understand how to answer a question from the past paper to get full marks.

Katie Rees is the best teacher I have ever had, she taught me chemistry A level during the 2023 exam season, where all the exams were ‘harder’ than before the COVID-19 pandemic. Katie also helped me to study for my AS level resits, from organic chemistry to writing tips for the long answer questions she knew it all, beyond this her kind and gentle demeanour makes you feel comfortable around her as a person not only as a chemistry tutor. The most important thing about Katie Rees that I remember about her is her belief in my abilities is what really impacted me, it is my honest belief that without Katie I would not have gotten into my Pharmacy degree at Reading University, I achieved an A in chemistry A level because of Katie Rees.
