I do not usually write reviews, but based on my first visit to the salon, I felt that I had to share my experience.The girls are really friendly, and are fantastic - I cannot praise them highly enough.I had a base colour, highlights, cut and blow dry with Amy. My partner commented that I looked 20 years younger (and he does not give compliments)I also used the services of Alice, the beautician. Again, I cannot praise her highly enough. Fantastic service all round. And I left feeling and looking like a million dollars. Thank you girls, I will be back

Love this salon, it's small and quiet just how I like it. Amy is fantastic with colour and cut. She charges half the price of well know high street salons but offers the same skill. I wont go anywhere else now.

Love Amy's.. Always love how she colours and cuts my hair and I'm never there for hours like I have been in other salons. She is so reasonable on price, and I have never been disappointed! I would urge others to take no notice of the review on here by Christine Nielson, she was there when I was getting my hair done this weekend, the reason why Amy was unhappy was because the lady rudely asked Amy if she was pregnant! To which she replied she was not! I suggest the reason her visit left a sour taste in her mouth was for another reason other than the quality of her haircut! Paid £300 for a weave, which wasn’t the same colour as my hair. Returned to have a toner put on it to try to fix it but it was still a different colour. Ended up taking it out myself. Hair was poor quality too.

My first visit to the salon and I absolutely love my hair Taylor did amazing job couldn’t be happier and the service was amazing highly recommend!

I'm so disappointed with my visit at Amy's Salon. I had bought a voucher on Groupon as I had read all the good reviews here online and I have never had a worse haircut!There was no personal service. She seemed really unhappy and not interested at all. Her assistant was lovely tho. I have never been too a hairdresser where it took them less than 1.5hours to cut my hair as I have so much of it. It took her 10mins. Not only did she not cut it as I had asked but she also cut it before asking if I liked that length and at that point she'd already cut it too short. There was nothing to do. And she just cut it straight all the way around. Didn't cut it up to avoid a sharp edge and it's not even straight all way around. I could have done this at home and probably achieved a better result.I know I bought a voucher, but that doesn't mean it should be so dishearted. She'd booked 3 people in within 30mins and she's one person.I certainly cannot recommend as I felt like crying on my way home in the car :( cannot wait for my hair to grow out so I can get it cut somewhere proper.

Wow, wish I'd found this place sooner, staff are so friendly and absolutely love my hair, will definitely be back, wouldn't hesitate to recommend!!

Amy was slap dash the worst hair experience I’ve had. She never went up to the root with highlights never put enough in and didn’t lift my hair as didn’t leave bleach on long enough. She was rough as well. The result was so bad the toner wouldn’t lift as the bleach was way too warm and orange.

I was called last week to cancel my appointment as the stylist was off sick. No problem, I rebooked for this morning.Get there today to be told that they had no appointment on their books for me today and that I would have to rebook. Needless to say, as a single mother with only a small window of time each week, I did not.Can't comment on the hair styling but the customer service is poor.

Been using amy's for a little while now and never had an issue. Just show her what I want done and its done with great customer service and a great price.I would recommend her to anyone.
