This is an Aladdin's Cave of Fabrics! We always find what we need in this lovely shop. The brothers are friendly and very helpful and generous. The prices are very reasonable and there are sales on most times I've been. I can't speak more highly of this shop. It has everything you need! The 7pm closing time is perfect for people who are busy throughout the day.

Owner was so patient and helpful with my mother and me. We were only in Edinburgh for a few days (on Holiday, visiting from the US) and I knew that I wanted to get some Harris tweed whilst visiting.They have a great selection of tweeds, from earthy and understated to Easter Egg in Plaid!They also have some lovely liberty prints in Lawn and Crepe de Chine, and a lot of very lovely quilting fabric.Definitely would be my go-to shop if I were a local.

This shop is an El Dorado for everybody enjoying a great choice of very fine fabrics and a rich stock of haberdashery. I was looking for some Scottish wool fabric. I know - not so original. They have - however a nice selection of Harris Tweed but furthermore they offer a wide range of other Scottish and English wool fabrics. Some very fine - outstanding wool fabrics - both in quality and colour. To explore such a shop feels a bit like a treasure hunt.Bring plenty of time with to indulge.The service was also excellent - very supportive and patient. Thank you for that lovely experience.

Huge range of fabrics and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend for sewing enthusiasts! I found some gorgeous fabrics and am looking forward to going back to have a proper trawl through everything!

Friendly staff, if your looking for fabric take a look in here, there's lots to choose from. Even if your looking for net curtains they have a small selection which varies in price depending on what your looking for.

Interesting fabric store, with a good selection of items. It doesn’t have the biggest range; it has a lot of different types of fabrics but not heaps of different colours and patterns. For example there is a selection of really pretty quilting cotton, but not a massive range to choose from. They do seem to specialise in other fabrics such as Harris tweed.They have lots of extra supplies, including knitting wool and embroidery threads. Plus the staff are very helpful.
