Fireaway Pizza Southend

Nice ambiance, with good seating for the space that’s provided. I ordered the meathead with honey chilli wings. The pizza was alright if you like cheese and are always seeking a satisfying cheese pull this is the place to go but the chicken was bland but had a bit of herbs sprinkled on which added no real flavour, and there could have been more meat since there’s a lot of emphasis on it in the name. I also believe some chilli oil could elevate the flavour of the pizza but it could work best with the restaurant as they like to add oil to their garlic bread. The wings were cooked well the honey added a sweetness that I liked but the chilli was seriously lacking but in my opinion the wings were better than the pizza but for the money it wasn’t that bad I’m not sure I would come here again but it is worth a try. I tried a slice of their cheesy garlic bread and was disappointed as it was essentially drenched in olive oil and it drowned out the taste of garlic which kinda defeats the purpose.

Ordered a pizza for delivery from them and it took forever to deliver. The stuff was fairly tasty, but absolutely not worth the price - we paid £30 for a small pizza, 3 dips and a small pistachio icecream, which is nowhere near something you could call good value. Would not order again.

First and last time of ordering from here. If I could give zero stars I would. 80 minute wait for a delivery on a Monday night ... glad not a busy night. Received a bbq boss pizza with no bbq sauce to be seen and about 2 thirds of my pizza had topping on and that's being generous. My partners pizza was burnt on the edges and inedible. Overall a terrible experience

Nice little pizza place.I have eaten in but prefer the takeaway as the dinning area is a little cramped and closeHowever the food is nice and it's nice to see the staff adhering to hygiene and wear fresh new gloves when making a customer's pizzaPizza itself is nice and has the rustic feel to it as made in a wood burner.Order through Uber eats and you can get 2 pizzas for the price of 1.Kids like the pizza from here, that's the main thing.

Used to love ordering from here but have been really disappointed recently. Delivery times are often over 1 hour, 1 hour 30 at the weekend, and they seem incapable of adding extra toppings which are paid for.The pizzas are lovely when hot but when they cool down they aren't that great (just taste a bit boring) the stonebaked base is nice and I love the chicken strips (also Polar is lovely) but I'm not gonna be ordering again while wait times are so long. Also they are a bit spammy with marketing and the codes often don't work.A real shame because Southend is hugely in need of good Italian pizza!

Placed an order from Deliveroo which I did not receive as there was some issues with deliveroo I believe. Called them the next day they sourced what happened, saw it was potentially an issue on my behalf but STILL went out of their way to make fresh pizza and deliver it free of charge.Very thankful and the pizza is tasting great (I'm typing this as I eat lol)Thanks and will order again!

Have often driven past this place and wanted to give it a try. Ordered their 3 pizzas for £23 deal and, while not blown away, was perfectly satisfied with what I received. The pizzas are stone baked so they are nice and crispy, toppings are generous and it certainly fulfilled my craving for junk food. Would have liked to see them offer their own homemade dips though, simply throwing in these run of the mill kebab shop offerings, somewhat cheapened the experience. Overall I would recommend and with their deals, good value for money

Amazing pizzas, love the fact you can create your own with all the toppings you want. Tastes super fresh and much prefer a fired pizza, gives a great authentic italian flavour. Also it's made in minutes so no waiting and the staff were very friendly

I had a very disappointing experience with Fireaway Southend. I ordered a pizza, and even though I'm just a mile away, it took them two whole hours to deliver it. Seemed like they literally took the meaning of stone baked where the pizza was so cold it felt like eating a stone.The delivery driver was really nice and polite, which was a pleasant surprise, but the store manager was extremely rude and arrogant over the phone. He had such an attitude, and it seemed like he didn't care about his customers or customer service at all.Given the number of pizza restaurants around town, I wouldn't bother wasting your time on such a pathetic place. With so many other options available, it's not worth the hassle to deal with Fireaway Pizza.
