This is the 'park & ride' car park for Rochdale railway station and tram stop.It's free to park here if you're using rhe railway or tram network.There are 229 parking spaces, and there always seems to be plenty of spaces.It looks and feels secure to park here.It's 2 minutes/200 metres to the railway station, or through the station to Rochdale Railway Station tram stop.It's a convenient and cheap option for visit Manchester city centre by tram, approx 20-minute journey.

On the journey back someone smashed up the tram. Someone then kept screaming in the platform whilst we waited for another one.

Not keen at all on this metrolink line. Too many youths travelling who probably have not paid and they can be very intimidating. Very few security staff appear to travel. Not improved since national rail disappeared, apart from punctuality and more frequency.

Car park is some distance away and it's not clear if you can use the carpark for heavy rail travel.

Typical carpark meant to be for metrolink but a good 4/5 mins walk from the tram stop. Not sure if train station customers can use this also. Unmanned carpark.

Great sized carpark that is really conveniently located for access to trains and trams. Plenty of spaces and lots of camera coverage. Free for all in possession of a valid ticket on metrolink / trains.
