Never using their services again. They took more than 2 weeks to provide me the translation for a single line on my document. At first they promised that i can get certificate from the certified translator whom they used and later on they completely denied giving me that document which was required by the government and refused a refund as well. Worst company ever. I don’t even know how they are surviving in Canada with such a poor customer service.

I needed my birth certificate translated into French by a sworn translator for my marriage dossier in France. Their initial prices according to the website appeared to be cheaper than quotes from local certified translators, but with the extra costs of certification and delivery it was actually cheaper and faster to use a local translator 'assermenté' with next-day collection of a print copy. When I paid for the print copy, Translayte assured me that it would arrive on time (from UK to France), but when I followed up for an ETA and postal tracking I received no response. The document did not arrive on time, so as I write this my marriage dossier has been rejected because of the missing paper, and I will not receive the hoped-for wedding date. For a short document such as a birth certificate, don't rely on this service, a local sworn translator can be found on the website of your embassy and the process will be heartache-free.

I used this translation company based on its reviews. I needed an urgent translation and they did not disappoint. They sent me a draft to ensure all was included in the translation and followed up with emails to ensure I was satisfied. I would highly recommend this company. Was quite worried after seeing some bad reviews as I spent 1600£ to translate documents to buy a property but in the end the service was absolutely amazing, customer service too. RUN!!!! I do not recommend this company. They use OCR software and don't actually look at or proof the work. The service is terrible. I've expressed my concern repeatedly that certain pages still need to be translated and they say the translation is complete. I have some choice words I'm refraining from contributing in this review for my own sake but use your imagination. This place is a joke stay away at all costs

I've never left a bad review before but I feel obliged to. I had to get a one page marriage certificate translated from English to Italian; pretty straightforward, not much information on it, and between two European languages. I paid €65.At various points 'Edinburgh' wasn't translated correctly, or not translated at all. There was no 'bride' or 'groom' written on our original certificate but they added it in the translation, and we're two men! The translation said my mum was deceased, when she's actually retired. There were other mistakes too.I think they use some sort of software to translate and don't bother checking. They send you a draft to check but I couldn't believe that I had to point out these kinds of mistakes, especially when you're allegedly paying a professional to do their job.This was a straightforward document to translate with basic information, and I spotted the mistakes as I speak both languages. I'd be very apprehensive about them translating something more complicated and into a language you don't know. Don't be fooled by the slick website.
