Bupa Dental Care Netherfield

I was on their Bupa Smile Plan for a year which I should have recieved a dentist and hygienist appointment every six months. Turned up and both times at the end of the dentist appointment I was told they didn't currently have a hygienist. The dentist just gave me a quick and sub par clean instead. I expect to get the service I'm paying for.I complained and was told they have struggled with recruitment (still happen to take my money). They then tried to claim their records show I did recieve the hygienist appointments.So not only did they fail to give me what I paid for, they're incapable of keeping accurate records.Avoid!

1 star is to much for the service they provide it to me. 2 years of wasting my time for a cleaning and 2 fillings wich will be done in 1 day if will be done properly. Last time i went to the clinic because my filling was off twice and guess what...the lady just stick the old filling on my tooth and after 2 minutes is out again, instead of doing the job properly. And some of the staff are very rude, there is no manners and respect! This clinic was recommended by a friend but this is the worst clinic ever! I don't know how is still open with this service they offer.The booking time for them is ridiculous. Ring them today and the next available appointment is after 2-3 months always!Great job!""

Booked online last weekend. Thought everything was sorted. Then someone called me at 8.15 on Monday morning when I was just waking up (lovely!). Then a text came through instructing me to pay £60 up front, a month before the appointment. I've never experienced this policy at any other dentist. And then, without any further communication, they cancelled the appointment on Thursday. What a shambles. I'll try elsewhere...

I have always had a great experience personally with the surgery. A part of my molar broke away and I was told an appointment was available but not till the 6.12. However Whitney said to call back at 8am the next day which I did and I now have an emergency appointment within 24 hours. I know the surgery is busy but this is excellent that they were able to squeeze me in at such short notice.

Was registered with these but they cancelled my appointments in Lockdown and said they would be in touch to book another. I went to book an appointment and they've de-registered me because I haven't had an appointment. Then said they were no longer accepting new NHS appointments. To be fair it's probably a lucky escape, the last time I visited them they took a tooth out and left half of it in. I certainly wouldn't pay for that service as a private customer.

Really pleased with my dentist. Unfortunately I don't know her name as (thankfully) I don't have cause to attend regularly but it is always the same lady and she is great. I particularly appreciate the fact that she will take a moment to briefly explain what things mean (eg. the numbers when checking your teeth) to make sure you understand whether there is cause for concern or not and you aren't sat there confused and worrying. Its been a professional, friendly and reassuring experience every visit.

Disgusted with Bupa. I had been with this practice before Bupa took over. I had had excellent service from the nhs dentists.I rang to make an appointment (on the nhs) to have two teeth removed and a new set of dentures to be told that, not only myself, but my husband and daughter where NO LONGER on their list.I now have horrific tooth pain, can’t eat properly and have nowhere to go for treatment. All I can say is that loyalty means nothing to this practice and I would like them to sort the problems out??
