HAPPY TOWN Chinese Takeaway

Absolute belter of a Chinese, no mortgages for a chow mein so reasonably priced and you get 10 spring rolls instead of the usual shisty six.Foods always hot and on time!Occasionally the black bean sauce tastes like bisto and the parking is naff as it's on the high street. Last time I got my order I had to face the herds of the high street looking like bob the builder. Was worth it.

We often order food over the phone to collect.Never had any issues at all. Food is always done in no time, and is tasty and hot. Very friendly staff too.

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. Dry chips from the day before and egg fried rice that looked different to any I had seen before. This meal was nearly £10 and went straight into the bin. Sorry but really cannot recommend.

Let me start by saying until now we had no issues with this place. Ordered several times before no complaints....until now.....Ordered food at 2205 order arrived about 45 mins later as told. Sit down with meal and realised order was wrong. 2303 called back to tell them the errors with vege chow mein. Said they would send out replacement as first was wrong noodles and dry. They called us back at 2315 to ask about the order. We confirmed what we wanted they said ok.2348 order turned up. And yet again order was wrong. 2349 called back and told them they sent another replacement out. And guess what??? They had made it right but tasted like water. Soggy veg too. By this time my food was cold as i waited for hers to be done. When i started eating i found shell fish in my chow mein. Which i had specifically asked to not have.The tastiest thing we had was the prawn crackers which were free....Called back to report this to them at 0037 and was on the phone to them for 36 mins. During which we were threatened to not have our money refunded. Told we had to go and get our money if we wanted it back. Got called trouble makers (which we are not). Then they hung up on us.We shall not be going back there again. Dreadful customer service. Food seems to be going down hill rapidly.Buyer beware... stay away.....

We loved this chinese till tonight (30/8/19 @ 10:30pm) as we ordered food online, its 30mins late so i email them to ask why? 10 mins later i call them to find out that supposedly someone has called from my address known my address & number to send it to another address !!! They then refused to either redo our order or refund us the money or even try to fix the issue until my partner takes over the call they agree to redo our order to our address to then be told never to order from them again !!!they gave us the details of the person who called on our behalf to change address enjoy ur meal!!

Don't want to give this takeaway a star as even 1 star is not deserved. The treatment my parents have received from them is absolutley appalling and unacceptable. After ordering unedible food a phone call was made to this takeaway to complain. The food was that bad everything was boxed and bagged back up to return. The service received was disgusting. No apology was given, a refund was not possible, no offer to redo the food and my parents were interrogated, questioned and shouted at. Then the phone was put down on them. We then made the trip to drop the food back off at the takeaway and to try and resolve the situation as the service was just too appalling. My father was shouted out continually even after calmly asking the manager to stop shouting and to talk in a calm manner to find a resolution. After it became clear that this was going no where he left the food and left the takeaway. Putting aside the fact that the food was too bad to eat I'd like to think that there is a lack in training with staff around customer service but its clear that the staff do not care about their customers and their attitude towards customer feedback and cristism is simply shocking. I would strongly advise no one to order from this takeaway and we will be taking this matter further.
