The law clearly states it is 16 to purchase paint however the staff member refused to serve by saying it was 18. After showing him ID and showing him the law that says it is 16. He made a poor excuse that it was company policy, This was most likely due to the fact he didn't want to be wrong. Poor customer service the manager didn't even leave his office.

This is without doubt one of the best car spares shop in Leeds. I have been a loyal customer of BMF since I was a child some considerable years ago, buying spray for my bike when the shop was in Harehills. I will continue to use this store until I can no longer drive or fix my own cars. Prices are excellent with great friendly staff on hand to help. I would recommend everyone to visit and call if parts are needed.

Great store for all your motoring requirements.If you are looking for a great deal on steering locks then you need to go here, as they are at a very very reasonable price.Friendly staff who are willing to give advice and are very helpful.

My experience was of over the phone, the operative was unprofessional, his manner was lacking in courtesy and poor product knowledge, he just couldn’t be bothered ! Watch out if you are a female customer , the language and mannerism is disparaging and everything it shouldn’t be, ( 50% of the potential customer base!) . The manager was present but he wouldnt take the call and handle the escalation, he said if you want to speak to us you have to attend the store, I had to get to work so it wasn’t an option. I wouldn’t give them my custom again, I have already found an alternative where I immediately felt more valued as a customer and was able to access reliable/ accurate information. Shop around there’s plenty of alternative options.

Phoned up for two top strut mounts and two inner tie rods for my dad's agila 1.3 diesel and I told them what the problem was what other garage told me and how much they were going to charge me.They said bring it to us on Monday morning and we will give you a second opinion and if its the same or what ever it is we will order the parts and fix it and you will get your dad's car back same day.This is what you call proper customer service.Definitely recommend this place.

Visited today to buy headlight for my car and asked for receipt. The guy on counter argue that it’s not returnable item. Claimed that all electrical items are working . I have asked to tested before I go as it’s not returnable and he aggressively tried to snatch the bulb and said that he is not willing to sell me.Very rude and argumentative and unprofessional staff not recommended . Price is also to high then any other competitors.

These are my local go-to guys for all things car. Sadly the WWW undercuts them for many things, but when I can use them, I WILL!! Great bunch of guys, too!

Went in today with my partner for two coil springs we had checked price online and my patner telephoned the day before . Well the price in the shop was way more than online and what was discussed on the phone which is ridiculous. Maybe if it was a couple of pound I would of paid but they wanted to charge me £30 more will never use again feel like someone was trying to con us.

Very knowledgeable staff, great friendly service.....and they charged what they quoted!!! Good selection of parts on the shelf

** Updated in order to reply to the owner who is proving my point - lack of respect and knowledge **My car never ever has been modified - all is stock on it. What is the point to ask me for reg number if they are not even able to see that car is UK model, first registered here in the UK and never ever has been exported or imported. If I could I would give minus 5 stars for this place. Never again with them.** Original review **Due to a lack of knowledge (I don't want to say care) they sold me rear brake pads which were not suitable for my car (I have got high spec model - front and rear brake discs and pads are bigger than on standard version). Car was booked in to the garage for replacement of all around discs and pads, so when they have finished with the front ones, the fitter realised that rear pads are too small, so we needed to stop the process, rebook my car and I had to go to BMF to return and reorder suitable ones. That consumed me more time, fuel and additional £50 in labour. No compassion - not even a word sorry received from the staff member on returning - reordering proper brake pads.
