Old St Chad's Church
Remaining portion of the church situated in a small park/graveyard. An informational sign provides context and contains Braille and a textured depiction of the original structure, as well as a couple audio recordings (though these were not working). A portion of the crypt is also visible nearby.

Old St Chad's Church
Old St Chad's Church stands in a small green space, a handful of graves and small trees. All that remains of the church is the lady chapel. The information boards for the church are very good, including detailed information, and braille versions of all text as well as tactile images. There has been a church dedicated to St Chad in Shrewsbury since the 12th century at the latest. It replaced a monastic site from the 7th century, and St Chad was the first Bishop of Mercia.By the 18th century the church was in a poor state and in 1788, the tower collapsed damaging much of the rest of the church.

When the sun is out and you want to rest your weary legs enjoy the ambience of the old grave yard and the old St Chad's chapel. The signage is excellent it also contains brail.

Old St Chad's Church
This is a pretty site surrounded by an open green with seating and the old gravestones. You can't visit inside the small building and there's little to see.

Old St Chad's Church
A beautiful and historic place to sit, there’s some history, a part of the old church and lots of trees that are lovely to sit under on a hot day.
