While the food it is a little pricey, it is well worth it, the cinnamon rolls here are delicious. Customer service is also great.

Visiting Harrogate for a couple of nights, and this bakery is close to our apartment. The jam and vanilla custard cruffin I just had was one of the nicest things I've ever eaten

Oh my Cruffin. Well apart from them ended up ordering loads of things. My mouth is watering just thinking about them again. The staff were so helpful, I'd Recommend asking them what they would have. Bloody beautiful

Called in at the Balterzens bakery his morning to buy a roll for my lunch. Chose a delicious looking multi seed roll for 90 pence. Presented a pound coin to pay. Have you got the right change as we don't really take cash". So got my debit card out. "We don't accept cards for less than a pound". Hilarious. I got some bread from M&S. Simon Gartside"

Ordered cakes from here for collection - everything was in order and ready in the morning for pick-up. The cakes were delicious, very well presented and possibly fed more guests than they stated (or I could be stingy with portions!).I'd be more than happy to order again on the basis of my experience.

Ordered the strawberry and elderflower marscapone cake for our wedding reception, so beautiful it was a shame to cut it but honestly the best cake I've ever had!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I wanted to buy some good quality flour to start a sourdough starter and the staff were very helpful in recommending which flour was best. We also ended up getting one of their muffins, which was amazing! Would definitely go back and would like to try their cafe too.
