Golden Touch

Golden Touch were great when I needed a last minute cut this morning. Very attentive to detail and gave me exactly what I was after. The additional ear and nose wax was amazing as well, feel like a new man. Will definitely return!

Popped in today for my son to have a back to school haircut. Shop floor really nice and clean. Friendly staff and really happy with the cut at a really good price. We will be back.

The best barber I’ve experienced in my Asian life.Myself as client:Having straight East Asian hair, it is very difficult to find a barber who understands the best way to cut and style.Review of barber:Musa is a very helpful, skilled and professional barber. He is also the non-talkative kind who focuses 100% at what he does instead of trying to engage in empty chats.The first time I came, I showed the kind of hairstyle I think might look good on me, and I told him I trust him to cut it the most suitable way to fit my facial feature and my hair. He did a tremendous job whilst providing free ear hair trim and nose wax (he may not do the latter automatically, but you may ask him if it is free and that you can have it).He is very kind and extremely soft spoken. Though I find he takes longer than other barbers, but perfection and satisfaction await you at the end of the session. And I think that is worth a wait, at least for me. £16 for each session I go (mid fade), and only cash is accepted. There is a cash withdrawal machine next door.Ambiance:Though the wait can be longer as he is very careful with each of his client, the chill house music in the waiting area with clean minimalistic wooden floor concept allow me to relax and be calm while waiting.Verdict:Overall, go when you are not rushing. Give it 1.5-2 hours if leeway of your schedule for him and you will be most likely be rewarded with a transformative experience. I am leaving the area for another city, and I wish Musa the very best. I will definitely come back to him for a haircut when I’m in Edinburgh/Musselburgh.

Taken both my boys here a few times now and their hair has been brilliant every time. My nephew and brother in law also go here as they are always pleased too. Great to have such an amazing place a short walk from home. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. My boys were here this morning and are already asking when they are going back, highly recommend barbers.

OUTSTANDING service: took great care on my hair and beard. Ear & nose wax quite an experience: plus face wash, wet shave, hot towel. I will now make this my regular.
