I've had an ongoing back problem for over a decade, yet after visiting Sophie at Chitopractic works for a number of treatments, I'm now virtually pain free!Everyone, from the reception team, to Sophie has been incredibly understanding and professional and I would thoroughly recommend Chiropractic Works.

I was a bit unsure at first but after a few weeks of treatment and advice, am fully convinced that it worked for me.Sophie took the time to understand why my back was aching, therefore it felt that I had a bespoke treatment. She also made clear that treatment alone would not solve the issue and that I needed to make changes with how I sit at my desk.She recommended practical and implementable advice, which worked in my case as I haven't had a problem in weeks now :)

I started going to Chiropractic Works when I was experiencing continuous back pain and I was unable to walk far or bend. Gerard made a thorough assessment and the regular treatment that followed has improved my condition to the extent of being pain free and able to undertake long walks again.More recently I have had knee problems. Again, Gerard's treatment and advice have helped considerably. He carefully explained the x-ray images and has tailored treatment accordingly. The exercises he has suggested have been valuable too.Definitely to be recommended.

Excellent and personal service. I went in with mild back pain / a twinge that had gone after two sessions. Gerard was very clear about explaining the process, possible causes and how the ongoing treatment and supplementary exercises would help to strengthen my back over time. On top of this professional service I am always impressed by the warm atmosphere - the receptionists know who I am and offer me a drink on arrival, Gerard is always friendly and makes great conversation (remembering what we talked about last appointment) which means that I always feel at ease whilst he is bending and prodding my joints. Very happy with the whole experience.

I have been a patient of Sophie’s for several years and see her regular maintenance as I have a physical job with injuries that cannot be “cured” but with regular treatments are bearable.It is a relaxed environment and all staff are friendly and supportive.

I was staying in the Peaks during a big roadtrip throughout England and Scotland. 8 weeks into the trip, doing lots of driving and sleeping in different beds did not do a world of good to my spine! I see an Orthomanual Therapist (similar to a chiropractor) regularly back home in Amsterdam and I was long due for some maintenance. Being very cautious with whom I let treat me, I found it quite difficult to decide who to see. After some Googling I decided on Chiropractic Works and Gerard could fit me in the next day. Boy, did I make the right choice!Gerard completed a full examination and explained very clearly what he was doing and what he thought would be the best treatment. He works with your body, rather than against it - not forcing it, and all the manipulations were spot on. The release and relieve was enormous and I felt so much better instantly. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in the door, Gerard is a very nice and genuine guy and very professional in his aproach to your body and treatment. I would go back to see him any time!
