Great experience, again allows dogs in. Kitchens on display aren't priced but all prices displayed on shelves. Couldn't find particular item and staff took me directly to it. Not just pointed n waved in general direction. Toilets on site.

Ordered kitchen at a decent price. Upon delivery not all cupboards arrived and missing parts in the items that did.At point of making the order, we were informed the cupboards would be prebuilt and made up already. They arrived in flat packs.This has set us back at least an extra £200, plus extra time to be spent on reorganising workmen. The timeline of plans we originally had sorted is scuppered.Upon trying to discuss the issues today with Wickes Newcastle over phone and around my work time, I have found staff unhelpful. Passed me to different numbers with staff again unhelpful. Not willing to help and not knowing what to do.Avoid buying from here at all costs. Better off going to Homebase or Tecaz.Advice for staff at wickes: the service does not stop at point of taking customers PIN numbers and hard earned money. Correct delivery (both of the paid for product and correct delivery days) needs to be sorted as a basic. If there is an issue please be at hand to help customers sort. Very disappointing.

Found 99% of the things I was looking for. Very good prices.Bargains available.Very friendly staff.

No help from the staff even after for an item. There were 2 near the entrance a man and a woman chatting. Asked me to go and check it out reading the sign posts. The store was quiet. I will not be going to this store, prefer the Gosforth one.

Nice place to buy tool and other accessories for construction of any kind of building

1st class service had a problem with a tin of satinwood paint, returned to store and offered alternative at same price and also needed sandpaper to re sand wood work, did not have to pay to upgrade satinwood and also did not pay for sandpaper. WELL DONE!! Thanks for great customer service

Compared to bnq the workers are far more helpful, vital to people keen on DIY but low on knowledge and skill. Noel helped me today, going above and beyond to help unlock my drill which had got stuck. This is why I now come to wicks instead of bnq.
