Had the front and rear wheel alignment carried out late last year (which I have done each year). I took the car back in February as it was pulling to the left and the edge of front near side tyre had signs of wear. I spoke with Sean who I find really helpful. He said they would re check the alignment but were too busy and to bring the car back the following week. When I returned the following week, Sean was unavailable and a man called Gary dealt with me. I told him that Sean asked me to return to have the alignment checked. Gary refused to check it. Came out with an excuse that because there was some wear on the tyre edge now it couldn’t be checked and I would need to have a new tyre but they would recharge me again for tracking! A few months on and ALL my tyres are badly worn at the outer edges. I was happy with this company prior to this and referred friends and family there. Never again! NB I did inform the company I was having issues in January. Also, there was the Christmas holidays in between. The last time I had the alignment done here I had no issues with the tyres and the vehicle drove in a straight line.

I first went to Costco for, maybe, two new tires, the cheepest came to £240, oh my, ran off and went the proper tire place, and got them for £139, result, much happier now, service was excellent, need a coffee machine in waiting room.

So, I have just had my Aircon topped up. Considering the weather at present, probably the best investment I'll make for some time. From melting to ice lolly in less than an hour.Called yesterday. Booked in with a time slot ( sorry, I was 2 minutes late but for me that's exceptional) .... job done. It's always interesting to chat to other customers and can be good fun but it always lets you know what other customers think. The same as me and what's really telling is we all keep coming back. MOT, servicing, repairs, tyres and exhausts all under one roof. If you've never been it's a great place to take your car for whatever it needs. First thing you notice is it's busy (that's always a good sign) and maybe this is just a woman's view but it's also clean. Everything is very well orchestrated and on the two occasions I have visited, Gary and the team have been more than willing to go the extra mile to get things done and more importantly, do them properly. Everything is explained and even shown to you (if possible) both what they are doing or have done. Now, as a mature lady these places can be daunting. In actual fact I grew up surrounded by boys who were car mad so I have a fair knowledge of what is needed. I never disclose that because it can work against me but here they treated me with courtesy and respect, never talked down to me and involved me throughout so if you are a lady who worries about going into these places, here you don't have to. It's not on my doorstep so logistically it's hard for me to make use of but I will make the effort because it's worth it. I initially presented them with a problem with the exhaust that two other garages had scratched their heads over. Here, it was up on a ramp, thoroughly examined and discussed by several members of the team, a solution found and it was booked in for a couple of days later. The price was fair (less than others had suggested) and it was ready when they said it would be. Good job!! See you next time then.
