Lauren came to our house for a 1:1 behaviour session. I was really impressed with how much detail and advice that was given on the day. Also the follow-up plans and check ups afterwards was very personal and helpful. Reggie and ourselves thank you so much!

We would highly recommend Lauren as the 'go-to' person for any doggie-based problems. She has such a calm and engaging manner with both dogs and their humans that you feel at ease whilst working with her. Lauren helped us with our rescue dog, Teddy, who was very reactive to all other dogs and animals. She accompanied us on walks with him and helped us understand how we needed to behave around Teddy prior to any potential reaction and also when he did react. After learning new skills from Lauren we felt much more comfortable and confident about how to behave when walking Teddy, resulting in us all enjoying our walks so much more. Thank you Lauren!

Lauren has a great understanding of dogs and the reasons for behavioural issues. She analyses the problems and offers solutions that work Not all solutions are a fast track to success, the secret is working with your dog and often it is reputation that is the key. Lauren is a good instructor who really is a dog whisperer, she comes highly recommended.

Could not recommend Lauren more, an absolutely brilliant trainer for the support I needed for my little man. As a rescue from overseas he was incredibly anxious on arrival with me and very shy of new people, myself included to begin with. Lauren advised me re giving him space and allowing him to do things in his own time. He is now my shadow because he came to me in his own time and felt safe and without pressure to do so. He was also incredibly anxious of new people and would often run and hide. She guided me on the importance of them not putting pressure on him. Advising that it they don't look at, speak to or acknowledge him it removes that pressure again allowing him to move at his own pace. He has gone from a nervous boy who ran away to a little man who will take himself to the sofa to observe and normally sniff and lick the new person's knee within the first hour. He's even added new friends (humans) to his inner circle because they've followed the advise Lauren told me to give them and earned his trust over time. Incredibly thankful to her for the guidance given, I don't think we would have made the incredible progress we have without her and I would strongly recommend her to anyone who needs behavioural support!

As a new dog owner I am getting used to the demands of training a puppy and instilling the behaviours I want as he grows. During his development, I found he reacted to pickup trucks and trailers whilst paying no notice to other road vehicles. Lauren at Wagg and Purr Pet Behaviour came to see us and then joined us on a walk. She helped me understand the cause for how he was behaving and showed me strategies and practical steps I could take with him to reduce his reaction and stress. Progress is going well, I am more confident when I'm out on a walk and my pup is becoming more relaxed too.

Lauren has guided me through introducing a puppy to a household where we have 2 elderly dogs.Our initial consultation was 2 hours long where Lauren taught me to ‘settle train’ my 12 week old rescue puppy as well as going through a plethora of puppy related questions.Within a few days of our consultation Lauren had put together a comprehensive, easy to follow pack that was full of useful advice for our particular family dynamic.Pup is now 20 weeks old and whenever I’m not sure about something (regularly!)I pass it by Lauren and she’s always given such valuable feedback. I feel like she’s with me on my journey and I will no doubt be in touch about further sessions when needed.Definitely recommend, I also have one very, very happy, relaxed and confident puppy.
