Used Nelson lots of times for skips and never had a problem.

NELSON PLANT HIRE SAVED THE DAY! I had a great deal of hoarding to remove in a short time for a family going through a traumatic period in their lives. Everyone I spoke to at Nelson Plant Hire from the chaps running the office to the driver who delivered my skip , treated me with the utmost respect and kindness.The driver of the skip-lorry parked the 16 yard skip only 3 inches from the vehicles either side without a hitch. I would not have thought it possible! The whole team were wonderful and so unlike the other subcontracted cowboys from Andover sent by Clearance & Cleanup.They seemed to think arriving in a beaten up, practically full Luton was equal to 14 yards of space for rubbish. They left most of the hoard behind and told me to get someone in to take the metal. The experience was dreadful and disgraceful. Surly and scruffy, Clearance & Cleanup's employees treated me as though I was an idiot. Beware.I was so fearful the same might happen again on my second attempt to clear the sadly collected hoarded but Nelson's employees were superb and quite frankly, I don't understand why there are any negative reviews. Thank you for your kindness and expertise! The family can start over!

Great Customer Service and a very quick delivery and pick up service.

Have now used them three times and on the last skip they picked it up early as I needed my driveway clear. I have found both the staff on the phones and the drivers consistently polite and helpful and would certainly recommend and use again.

Amazing service polite friendly staff, easy to use and lots of direction as to where to go and tip.

Booked a 5 yard skip 2 weeks ago. They turned up today day 3 hours later than promised and tried to palm me off with a much smaller skip. Would never use this company again.

the last load of about 200 tonnes of muck was removed from the road outside my house today by their grab operator ( F Martin )... great job nice and tidy. Always responded quickly no problems. THANKS

BEWARE OF ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR PROPERTY.I haven't ordered a skip from company but a bungalow behind ours did.However, Nelsodriver wrecked our fence causing damage to 3 panels and posts.They will not take ownership of the damage.I have rung many times and left messages, ranted at the other Simon and the owner doesn't come back to me.I call this extremely bad service and manners.Please rectify this immediately.

Watch out for the additional costs.They advertise a skip for £215, but actually charge you £298, as they charge you delivery on top.They don't mention anything when you book it. They also pick it up when it suits them. Two weeks later in our case
