This is a unique restaurant. Has a serious dress code but dont let that get you down because there is free food before 8am. Unfortunately the red lobster is far too expensive for the quality. Would go again just have to wait for my hair to grow to the acceptable length. Lots of kids for some reason maybe the police should look into it. Would recommend to all my fellow kids

The only reason I added a extra star is for Mr Yeates when he took over as acting head back in 2011/2012 he was a decent Head and respected the individuals and got stuck in with classes. Now moving on, right from year 7-11 I was bullied constant and no matter how much you complained or your parent rang up they didn't care all they did was talk to the bully no consequences was put in place they just got away with it. Some lessons despite bullying was happening TEACHERS NEVER INTERVENED and told the bullies off or put them in isolation instead they turned a blind eye and deaf ear you could see it was happening I'm sure some teachers enjoyed it. If I was the Teacher damn right I would of intervened and told the bullies off and told them how unacceptable it was to behave in that way and if it continued I'd of taken them out my lesson. This School need to grow a backbone with bullies and stop wrapping them up in cotton wool. Secondly if you're not a favourite pupil no matter how good you are forget getting any treats or rewards. They set up a chance for people to win to go to the X Factor Tour yet they picked the FAVOURITES and didn't exactly let them choose 1 friend to go with, they was just going to send random kids on a trip to it. Another trip if you was predicted a GRADE D or above you was able to go to this hotel for revision, so basically if you wasn't brainy enough or a favourite tough we don't care about you. Thirdly I was taken out of English to do EXTRA Maths so basically I didn't even get another chance to resit my English and even though I wanted to I was told NO despite other people being allowed to who was a few marks off. The only thing is we never did extra maths we was half the lesson looking for where we needed to be then got accused of skipping a lesson and wondering the school no teacher had a clue and all we got fobbed off with is it should be on your time table. Well actually no it wasn't despite you got shown the timetable. In the end they chucked us in a YEAR 9 lecture theatre Maths class. We was YEAR 11 doing our GCSE'S NOT YEAR 9 and all the teacher said was have you got any course work to be getting on with. I didn't leave with decent grades from Havelock because of the poor organisation and the constant bullying an being made to feel thick from some teachers. Just so you know I now own my own Entertainment business that is doing VERY WELL so hard luck on bringing me down and I know many others who have gone on to do well. Be careful who you bring down because they might do 1 better than you! I wouldn't send my future children here due to the poor standards and I have since heard its got a sight worse, from sacking teachers, to the way they treat staff and the poor organisations. Also this school needs to re think their uniform and the quality of it, its absolutely SHOCKING. While I am on the subject of uniform, I find it disgusting that they expected kids to have top buttons done up and ties on despite it being hot weathers. They should of given them the option if you take your tie off you must have your blazer on or have your blazer off and tie on. The school has gone right down market.

I went to this school from year 7 until the end of year 9. I hated school at the time and it's only now, since i have left and moved to a better school, that I realised it wasn't school in general I hated, It was Havelock. They treat everyone the same and only praise the people who work wonders. The rules that they have in place are just stupid and they worry more about how children look/dress than there actual grades! I will not deny they have some really nice/caring teachers who do try to help you as much as they can, but the amount of supply teachers I had while I was here was just awful and this stopped me from reaching my goals. I would not send your children here unless you do not care about them because there are school in the area which will have a much greater impact on your child!

What does your hair have to do with your education, never mind pupils wasting teaching time your wasting their education by making a huge fuss. What happened to being yourself and treating people as an individual? I understand a uniform is essential but I'm sorry you're not in the army or a prison grow up for god sake

I am a student of this school, this school is absolutely terrible, i know people in this school who sit and cry every lesson yet not one teacher cares, i see students being bullied to the max getting stuff thrown all over them and even more and nothing gets done except isolation for a day, to add to that how the hell does jewellery, hair colour, tight trousers and ANKLES SHOWING cause a distraction. This school is the reason most children are becoming more and more mentally tired and not even wanting to be alive anymore this school is a place no one wants to be unless the teachers actually like like them and are nice to them. They say ‘ we say no to bulling ‘ ‘ we will help with you mental health’ when in fact this is all lies upon lies and it’s to the point children of this academy are wanting to end their lives and teachers do not care they only care about you getting good grades to keep the DRET and government happy.

a brilliant school teaching is good and bullying is not allowed also are smartly dressed and the students are expected to behave around the academy. I highly recommend your child to go as they will achieve there goals and go to where they want to go and do what they want to do later in life :)

My daughter was so looking forward to starting secondary school until she came here, the love for school has been beaten out of her she being bullied and all the school say is what do u want us to do! They get detentions for dropping pens on floors etc wouldn't recommend in the slightest

What makes me laugh about this sad excuse of a school is they don't notice how bad the ratings are on google. Surely you need to change people's perception on you and its not very convincing for people to send their kids here. Bullying and rules here are pathetic!

I'm a year 6 student and starting year 7 this year. I got into Havelock but now reading these reviews i'm regretting this decision. I will tell others about how terrible the school is and tell them not to go if these horrendous and disgusting things do not get sorted
