We contacted Rebecca at Sounds and Words Speech and Language Therapy while we were waiting to see an NHS Therapist for our child. She was very knowledgable and gave us lots of activities that we could do ourselves at home to help with his sounds. Rebecca was my supervisor during lockdown so all our sessions were over the phone. I was newly qualified and hadn’t been long in the role. She’s a great listener and always gave well considered and practical advice to guide me and give me clarity. This really helped develop my confidence in my clinical decision making. She’s knowledgeable and experienced, and also very positive, friendly and down to earth which definitely helped keep me sane during such a challenging time!
