Snaffles Restaurant
Visited recently without realizing that the place had transitioned to fine dining.It's a bit pretentious in my opinion.When you disregard the fluff like dry ice and novelty soup bowls the food is just ok and service is slow. The service team struggled with only 4 tables of 2 on this occasion.Its all a bit up its own back end so we'll give it a miss in future.

The best dining experience I have had in Ireland in a long time. 5 courses of deliciousness with little surprising elements in each bite.Great vegan / vegetarian options and really considered flavour pairings.The staff were attentive but not intrusive, friendly and welcoming.Breakfast was a great surprise, everything appeared to be made on site which is rare in even the best hotels these days.Baked rice pudding with soaked dried fruit.Fabulous banana bread, brioche, brown bread. Plenty of variety on the buffet and then a varied hot breakfast menu with the full Irish and the full vegan, avocado on toast, pancakes etc.Would highly recommend.I wish Castle Leslie was closer to us, its now so rare to fine food this good with service to boot.

Absolutely delicious!! Best meal ever and staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was a bit slow to start, but staff were friendly and helpful. The whole fine dining experience was fabulous, dishes were exquisitely presented, adventurous and scrumptious! I would definitely recommend!

Amazing dining experience. Efficient staff from the minute we stepped through the doors of The Lodge. Food was just amazing with a few nice surprises along the way. Staff very knowledgeable when it came to food and wine menus. Interior of the restaurant is a feast for the eyes too. Can't wait to return.Thank you.
