Pearson & Hearn Cafe - Espresso Bar
Not great. Found the staff pretty rude - especially the bloke that works there. The coffee was not great, it’s actually better at the greasy spoon just down the road! The cakes look shop bought and not worth the prices charged. Also don’t use the toilet, it doesn’t flush and the walls are covered in mould

today visited this cafe for the first time and an amazing slice of victoria sponge, two thick decadent layers of buttercream inside, fluffy moist sponge, just enough jam, a sprinkling of powder on top, pretty much the perfect cake!! Tea was good too.

Small but very nice cafe. Excellent cooked English breakfast. Very friendly staff. Outside seating part of which is covered.

Pretty basic cafe. Tasty jacket potato lunch but the chicken avo salad was disappointing. I'm not sure why a cafe like this would call themselves an espresso bar!

Pearson & Hearn Cafe - Espresso Bar
Wife, daughter and dog all decided to have a break and a coffee here. Despite the cold we took seats outside. The staff came out with the food and even a couple of dog biscuits for Kylo. Food was delicious and warming and the coffee delightful. The staff are lovely and this is one of my favourite local cafés. Great variety and great tasting too.

Really great! The English Breakfast was delicious and the ladies behind the counter are terribly nice. The coffee is an absolute delight! And the smoothie was also a good choice. I haven't tried the cakes yet, but they looked perfect!

The place is small with 4 tables inside one for 4 and 2 for 2 also has outside tables with some coveing on one side and the outside is open which is good the staff are friendly and welcoming now the food I had the breakfast inside and take out some cake was nice the breakfast was good the sausages one of them was a bit hard I think because it was microwave but tasty toast was nice but for me too much butter all in all breakfast and the cappuccino was nice i recommend give it a try

From a few months back - I am so happy this place exists and that it is so close to home. The food is fresh, tasty and so reasonably priced. Great coffee too. Never leave! Can’t wait dine in again soon. Also a sneaking suspicion kiwis are involved which is an incredible bonus for this homesick New Zealander.

The food was fine although rather pricey however I will not be visiting again l was with my Grandaughter and 4year old Great Grandson we asked if they would make a child size ham sandwich the assistant said it would be fine however other lady said they couldn't but would cut the crusts off but would still charge full price which I believe was over £6.The money is not the problem its the fact that we're not interested.
