horrible service by the woman behind the bar, told us people don’t split the food in 4 ways?? gave us horrible attitude, told my friend she didn’t have change and then said she had change for someone else. the server undercharged me by 62p and asked me “who decided to pay 18.18” with unnecessary attitude. staff were all giving us horrible looks.

We were walk in customers just looking for a quick easy bite to eat and happy to find it buzzing. It was busy downstairs at least and groups were celebrating birthdays. We were taken upstairs.We both ordered a drink and a main with the intention of adding dessert. Both dishes were not nice. My dish was not even edible, I'm pretty sure something went wrong with the sauce but they chose to serve it anyway.The servers seemed disinterested in us, maybe as we weren't a large group.I chose not to make a fuss but I did let the server know that I had found it inedible. There was no response. We paid the bill and left, in hindsight I should have asked to have it taken off the bill.Maybe we were unlucky, but I don't recommend it, not just because the food was bad but any server worth their salt would question a plate being returned that was hardly touched. To not address it is poor.

A welcome light-hearted feel from the staff but no compromise with the food which was consistently excellent. Especially the fegato. They welcomed our sharing and substitution requests without a flinch. Thank you for a great meal, we will be back.

ordered uber eats worst decision ever as usually order from Punto thought i would give them a go as we have eaten here before.... the food was cold and the tiramasu was melted and in the smallest portion pot from what is usually advertised on the menu (i have had the restaurant portions before) melenzane was half portion so was the lasagne, we also had pizza and garlic bread all of which were cold the driver did a stop off. too.i called the restaurant initially about he tiramasu and the person on the phone said the tiramasu is takeaway size ut they charge the same as if you were to eat in...trading standards should be aware of their mis-selling...disappointing... if the man had been a bit more sympathetic i would have let it go....NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME TO YOUR RESTAURANT OR ORDER FROM YOU OR UBER EATS...i have taken the time to review as it is shame on you Giovannis

I’m not a fussy person, but I had a takeaway pizza tonight and was quite surprised that it looked like someone had just taken a handful of seafood and slapped it on the top, and unevenly with one part looking quite bare. The base itself tasted fine but the seafood topping just had nothing binding it and no flavour or seasoning. There were also bits of shells in random places so I crunched into them sometimes which was really unpleasant. Not the kind of presentation and quality I have been used to for many years dining in this restaurant which saddens me. Only ate half of it and won’t be back for pizza. Their pastas are usually excellent so I will have pasta from now on.

Popped in for a late supper for some Great Pasta, lovely wine, friendly service, we know the pizzas are the ‘best in the area’ it is great fun to watch them make the Pizzas.

The barista is very rude, the treatment he gave a rider after explaining the collection process to deliver a large order is incomprehensible, your company accepts those policies with deliveroo, ubereats...
