Point UK - Repointing and Brick Restoration Services

From the initial contact to discuss our plans and to request a quote, through to the final tidy-up after work was completed all members of the PointUK team were extremely professional and courteous.We approached PointUK as we had a number of external walls with cement mortar which had become weathered, along with a desire to replace various bricks to enhance the property appearance. Jack met with me and discussed the most appropriate options for the property, and to talk through how the various aspects of the work would be completed. I was able to ask plenty of questions, and was reassured by the answers provided. We received a competitive quote which we reviewed, accepted and arranged a date for the work to commence.The team arrived on site at the agreed time and were briefed by Jack. Prior to the beginning of work, windows and doors were carefully covered with protective sheeting. The team methodically removed all of the old mortar to the specified depth using specialist dust-free grinding equipment exposing sound mortar behind, and then started the process of repointing the brickwork. I had been able to choose the colour of the mortar and the repointing finish to match adjacent walls, and this was achieved to a very good standard (despite one wall in particular having numerous outlet pipes and fittings making access significantly more challenging). The team had sprayed and washed down the brickwork ahead of repointing and the end result really did look like a newly constructed wall.To conclude, we are extremely pleased with the outcome of the work undertaken by PointUK. Without doubt it pays to engage with a company with the appropriate knowledge, skill-set and experienced team for the task. We have further walls to be repointed next year after a building project has been completed and we will not hesitate in inviting PointUK back.
