Awful selection of games to play, almost no stock to buy, and the owner is rude and aggressive to customers. He even invented on the spot fees for other members of the group. The website says the cafe is free to use for gaming if you buy a drink or food every hour, but some people he demanded £6 from and was rude when they asked why there was an extra charge.

A fun place to hang out!It’s been great meeting new people with similar interests. There’s a real sense of community in the retreat, very casual vibes makes it an easy place to walk into and find people to hang out with.Good hearty food that’ll keep you going for those long D&D sessions and the milkshakes are lovely.If you’re into any kind of deck builder/ card game, board games, ttrpgs, or gaming, and are looking for a place to hang out I highly recommend!I also want to say just how accessible this place is, staff are super accommodating and accepting. It is abundantly clear all are welcome! :)

Great place to hang out with friends and family. Very friendly staff, especially Ffion who helped me with my food order. She also sold me the Pokemon pack that contained the one card I needed!. Amazing place that welcomes anyone and I hope flourishes.

Amazing community and amazing staff.They say that people return to places where they feel at home, the owner does not but make every customer feel welcome and interacts with everyone on a personal level.Will recommend to everyone!This really is your go to place for everything Pokemon, D&G, Board Games and lots more.Thank you so much guys

What happened to the ‘apparently’ nice manager??? He was extremely rude to everyone last weekend, no customer service and certainly not welcoming to visitors - won’t be going back unfortunately

My Autistic son has loved going here since it opened. We used to join in at Pokemon club, and learned a lot. We go for lunch once a week usually, as my son loves the nachos. Always have a cheerful welcome.

I have been going to this place for just over a year and have met some great friends. Staff are good, but........and there is a but, after recent events I won't be going back. The lack of support for MTG, and low stocks of other items (except Pokémon cards) after a year its becoming a strain to continue to go. Wish them all the best, but I will not support a business that does not support its customers and player base.

Love this place, an awesome way to meet other like minded people that are into, magic, warhammer, pokemon. Bridgend really needs a place like this please support it, as it is a great place for the community.

Amazing place for gaming. My sons love coming here, and we have been made so welcome. Allyn and his team are so friendly, and have helped my sons with their Pokémon.It’s an absolutely amazing inclusive space, my son has autism and feels comfortable here. Completely recommend.
