One of the best queer-inclusive/LGBTQ+-inclusive spaces in Manchester. If you're looking for someone to cut your own unique hairstyle, this is the place to go.I've been a regular at Palace Barbers for nearly five years and I couldn't recommend this place enough.High quality haircuts for the price you pay. The barbers are also ready and prepared to cut any sort of style you'd like. They are knowledgeable of all styles - they can happily advise on what you could get.The environment of the barbers is calm but fun. I love the 80s music being played quietly! There's lots of artwork dedicated to Blondie (icon!) and the waiting area is comfortable.Steve, the owner, is incredibly welcoming - and so too are the other barbers. You can have a chat with the barber if you like, or you can stay quiet - there's no obligation to talk. Either way, the staff are so friendly and nice.Would recommend this barber to everyone. Absolutely gorgeous place, hairdressers were so lovely and friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. The whole vibe is very accepting and welcoming, I haven’t been to a hairdresser since I was like 11 and so was quite nervous but my hair looks absolutely gorgeous and they listened to exactly what I wanted and checked in with length ect ect. All round an amazing experience, 10/10 recommend. :)

I like to keep my hair relatively long and wavy, but everywhere in Manchester these days seems to only do skin fades and buzz cuts. I went to Palace barbers for the first time today and it was easily the best haircut I’ve ever had. The people are great and the prices are definitely worth it when you see the amount of detail and time they spend on you. The results were everything I asked for and I will definitely be returning again!

I brought my son here for a complete restyle hair cut, the staff were so very welcoming, warm, friendly and professional. The gentleman who cut my sons hair was an absolute gem and a pleasure to meet, he did a fantastic job and really took his time to teach my son how to upkeep the hair. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and would recommend anyone to go there.

For years I used to dread getting my haircut. Wandering between random hairdressers whenever I was desperate for a cut. Until I found this place. The only place I ever go to and I genuinely look forward to my next visit. Great staff, great haircuts and lovely chats. It's a super safe and inclusive space. Love it x

The place is definitely good, but had the worst haircut experience here. I have been growing my curls out for a while, so just needed a refresh cut. Just a trim and low fade, but it seems the guy really didn't listen to a single thing I said. Just for reference I showed the style I wanted from old photos, but He just chopped off all the curls, left it at very uneven lengths on the sides, and gave a near short haircut rather the trim I wanted. Need to go to some other place to fix what is messed up now. Will be cautious before visiting the place again.

me and my partner came here the other month- had a really nice service and was happy with the outcome. both barbers are very skilled and lgbt friendly. the prices are very good too. will be coming back again :)

i’ve had my hair cut here 2-3 times now and everytime they’re so lovely and always do my hair exactly how i want it :) great staff, they always make you feel comfortable. i tell all my queer friends to go here purely for the environment and knowing they’ll be able to do exactly what they need!

Been having my hair cut here since I moved to Manchester last summer, currently get seen by either Steve or Tim, whoever is free, both are incredibly friendly, chatty, attentive, and know what they’re doing. I often don’t really know what I want doing to my hair and always get suggestions which turn out great. It can be busy especially on weekends, but this just shows how popular the place is.
