This is a great place with delicious food, friendly staff, and live music. The seating is extremely comfortable. It’s a great place to relax in the middle of Portobello Market.

We had a lunch at the restaurant. The food was not bad but the service was not great. We paid £36 service charge and not once been checked on. 2 of us ordered pork steak and had to eat it with chops sticks. We we asked for cutlery we were given just one. So we used that 1 knife to cut it for both of us and then used chopsticks to pick it up. Not once we were asked if the food was good or if we need more drinks. We had to ask if others food is coming after waiting for more than half an hour, which it is fine. It were steaks we were waiting for, but then we saw that the steaks were the whole time in the lift, waiting to be picked up. And again no cutlery. The plates were cold so withing 2 mins the meat got cold too. The door was the whole time opened so some of us were sitting in the jackets. Well not that great over all

The saying is true… ‘you get what you pay for’!Absolutely delicious sushi and the BEST prawn tempura i have ever tried.Service a bit slow, its understandable as restaurant is very busy. Can be very loud with live music on weekends- cocktails delicious and strong ;)overall a great experience, will be returning !

A late dinner with a dear friend. Fantastic interiors , dark and luscious. Lovely atmosphere with friendly talk to customers / locals? Service was lovely and the food and cocktails fantastic. Highly recommended. The bathrooms also have a charming gentleman who keeps them spotlessly clean and provides aftershave etc. Will go again soon.

We had food and drinks here on Saturday. The service was great even though it was full. The food is so lovely and well presented. The atmosphere was brilliant with a band on singers and jazz.Quite pricey, but worth it for a treat.

I really enjoyed the food - tasty and great fresh sushi. However a let down to this place is the atmosphere - it was pretty quiet for a Thursday evening dinner service and half of the restaurant is cordoned off to guests, plus they had a DJ so they turned the sound right up and then was hard to talk. Also the service is appalling - took a long time for them to at least take our drinks order and we had to ask them to come to take our order plus the waiter is a mute and doesn’t say anything when he puts the food down or when we paid the bill. And to think they want to also include a 14% service charge too - absolutely shocking for terrible service. Would be happy to pay it if the service was amazing, which is wasn’t.

Stunning food! Ian, our server, has such passion for what he serves. He describes the dishes with poetic beauty and they tasted that food, as well. We got the sashimi (so fresh!) a volcano roll, a mango avocado roll, bao buns and chicken appetizer, and we enjoyed all of them. My favorite was probably the bao buns and the mango salmon roll. Take a look at their cocktails! So unique and delicious! Every detail is perfection! Thanks for the amazing meal!

UNBELIEVABLE FOOD EXPERIENCE, if you’ve ever been blown away by a food experience, this will top it. If you are in London…or a resident take the time to come here and taste the best sushi in town. Sensational atmosphere and will be imprinted in your memory.

Live music on a Saturday with a great singer! Staff were normal-nice. Food was ojay-good! Particularly enjoyed the sushi, fried chicken, prawns, tempura, crab etc.We had many dishes but we did not like the pork bao buns, lamb chops had a burnt but spicy flavour (couldn't decide if I liked it or not) and the brocoli was plain...no garlic or soy with the weird mayonnaise sauce many restaurants give you...Nice spot though all the same!

I can't praise this restaurant highly enough. The food and atmosphere are outstanding. We are slowly working our way through every dish on the menu. All the dishes that we have tried so far are absolutely YUM. And hats off to the bar staff who all make a mean Amaretto Sour. The star 'host' is Ian though. He is friendly and efficient, with a fantastic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and recommended many tasty dishes for us to try - Manager - a pay rise for Ian please!! He is absolutely amazing. Additionally, there is live music on Saturdays afternoons. Overall, a very pleasant establishment in which to spend an afternoon or evening. Highly recommended.
