I went with my ex work colleagues annual Christmas meal. The food was generally very good especially the Billionaires Profiteroles very generous portion, the Red Wine, Mushroom and Sirloin Steak that I had upgraded to a Fillet Steak was rather tough, someone sitting opposite me said his was OK so I can only assume there was a mixup with the order, the waiters were very good so no complaints there, I must say that the restaurant was very cold on a cold winters evening others were putting their coats on too, generally I don't think that we will be returning next year it maybe will be another local Beefeater. The car parking was full at 7:30 pm and I had to find parking in the nearby multi storey car park at £2,50 for 2½ hours which I thought was reasonable.

I visit here quite regularly with my mum, on a weekend it is always busy late lunchtime so expect to wait about 30 minutes for a table. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly but it always takes so long here to receive your food so you end being here well over an hour and I find as the food takes so long I then can't be bothered to order a desert and wait so long for that too. As much as I always choose to come here as I prefer it over the others of this chain in Gloucester and the Manager always chats to my mother and I the place needs more staff

I really had perfect amazing delicious steak on busy Friday evening. Team are working smoothly, head chef Ash and grill chef Fatih alongside Craig is stunning. Well done guys. Impressive.

Been twice this week, once had chicken goujons and skinny fries, fries were just warm, couldn't finish as they went cold whilst eating goujons. Second time, I had fish and chips, batter too thick on fish and not much fish in batter. Thick.cut chips were hot and tasty.Staff friendly

Housed in an old Windmill warehouse right on Gloucester Docks and within touching distance of Gloucester Keys shopping outlet.Plenty of free parking, but dint forget to register your number plate & there is a three hour time.limit.I went for the three course lunchtime menu which was great value for money.Starter Couliflower Poppers with BBQ sauce, Mains upgraded to the 8oz Sirlion steak & paid extra for the Peppercorn SauceDesert Caramel apple Betty with hot custardThe steak was more medium than medium/rare, but accept for that all was good.Servers where very friendly & prompt.TOP tip If you're ordering sort during, go for the Unlimited drinks option, as you'll save a fortune especially of you're with children

So this is just on Gloucester Quays, the staff are friendly and helpful and atmosphere is nice, they were busy all the time we were there, food was really good and hot, Bailey coffees were nice but just touch more Baileys would of been good. This Beefeater is opposite the Premier Inn which is handy for food and drinks and just relaxing in comfort, will go again as really enjoyed.Went again last night and meal and service really good, Staff friendly and helpful no room to fault at all and was just as busy...Went here 16/01/2023 has table booked for 19.00 pm they seated us and eventually came and explained they were short on staff to help serve which we said was fine, but I don't understand how that can affect the kitchen with cooking all I can say is the meals were terrible, chips cold and the salad was tiny and shrivelled up. Very disappointed as out celebrating birthdays..The waiters were good and did a good job under the circumstances..

Booked a table on bank holiday on our way home from holiday. Expected it to busy but it wasn't which pleased us as we expected service to be quick but it wasn't. We wasn't told of any delays so didn't expect any and didn't even get an apology for such a long wait. We ordered veg sticks as a starter for my 21 month year old and the carrot hadn't even been peeled or washed as you could see the dirt. Our main meals then took another long time to arrive which was thankfully cooked at a decent standard. Seems to be a lot of waiters with nothing to do and just stand around chatting when they clearly need more cooks.

Had meal deal, the meal deal was better than the others that are adjoined to premier inn, breakfast wasn't the best, it wasn't that busy just only 1 member of staff waiting on people. No pains of chocolate, bread felt like it was half cooked before I toasted it! But the service was nice at all times. Parking can be a right pain!Upon my return I've down graded a star because some of the evening meals seemed to be a bit naff, and the the hot breakfast just all seemed dried out and again a bit naff. Service is good and staff are nice just food quality a bit poor, food just seems either under cooked or its over cooked!

Very poor experience for breakfast. We're vegetarians, but no veggie bacon, no decaf coffee, sausages were underdone, eggs were embryonic, plates dirty, staff unhelpful with a terrible attitude.Only one member of staff was fine because she gave us a full refund!I guess if you're a meat eater then it could be passable.Good fruit compote though.Don't bother

Booked a table on Tuesday night with no signs of issues. Lack of parking should have told us it wasn't meant to be.Sat down by the manager and given menus but after waiting nearly 30 minutes for our order to be taken we decided to walk out. 3 members of staff in the building as far as could see (1 manager and 2 servers) but they spent more time looking after a party of 8 and late arrivals preferring a pint. Was much better the week before but can't see us returning any time soon
