This has got to be the best chippy on the Fylde Coast. In all the years of visiting Dawsons, I can honestly say I've never had anything bad to say. Fantastic fish and chips always cooked fresh and hot. Plus very generous portions. A genuine 5 star chip shop. Fantastic!

Thought to give it a go for fish n chips while we were staying in Ribbyhall for holidays , not impressed with fish to be honest. It was okey nothing exciting about it. May be my expectation was more than shop can actually offer

A real treat to come here when I'm visiting my parents in Kirkham. The chips taste better than anywhere and the fish is just perfection....really thick, juicy, fresh fillets. The batter as well.... elsewhere I'd usually order lightly battered to avoid the excessively oily stuff you normally get but at Dawsons even the thicker batter is good. Oh yeah, and the portion sizes are good as well. Large chips really are large chips.

Thought id give it a goWill definitely not be going backRude obnoxious staff especially the serverI questioned the price as it sounded wrong compared to price listThey charge for trays apparentlyI dont know how else they would serve gravyWell i say gravy , more like congealed gunk, and chips re fried
