This is the first time I've had Somali food, but I must say I was really impressed. I'm not a red meat person but everything we had was great. Banana on rice was really confusing. I've never seen that combo before. Can't say I agreed with it, given I don't like to mix sweet with spicy food generally. But overall the food was definitely worth it. They only accept cash and there didn't appear to be a menu in sight.The atmosphere was really interesting. The waiting staff were so relaxed. It felt more like it was a large family and people just blended together really naturally. I personally found it really nice. A bit like Taste of Pakistan in Hounslow. It also seemed like everyone knew everyone which was nice. The Somali community is huge. But really good to see how they come together. I'm not Somalian myself but blended right in.

Mashallah Nice atmosphere. Clean and well kept. Segregated for females and males. Updated store front also. Looking nicer than before ☺️Lovely shaah and customer service. See decor was simple and cute. Love the African Savannah wallpaper, goes with the theme.

This review is for two visits. Once in April 2023 and again in December.Very good service however xaniid (meat on the bone) sells out very quickly so be sure to call in advance to check if they have any.

**Attended during Ramadan**First time trying somali cuisine.Asked waiter for a menu, was told there is no menu and to tell them what I'd like.My friends and I asked for a platter with various cooked meats etcWas served with big sized dishRice and spaghetti (spaghetti was not requested) (70% spaghetti)Some thin slices of beef and chickenCustomer service was different"

I have to say, 1 of the best restaurants serving Somali food. Much better than Al Kahf in East London, Whitechapel. The rice was perfect, the beef steak and sukar was amazing. So juciy and soft. Even their chicken was cooked really well.Only problem is that they never have any lamb available it always sells out. They are always sooo busy so they should stock up on their main dish. If you do want to try their lamb then I suggest you book a table and tell them your order and they will keep for you.

Homely feel, many Somali uncles, service is 4* however for the price and experience I would grade it 5*, so I just left it at 5*.We got haneed however their soup wasn't available.Food was so good and rice was very nice,Meat was a bit too much at the end but we shared a massive portion between 3.£42.50 with drinks and tea and unlimited rice.Very very good.A must try.

I had a fantastic experience at Brothers! The owner was incredibly polite and helpful, guiding us through the East African cuisine menu. Although I initially wanted meat, I ended up trying the chicken, and it was a delightful surprise. The chicken was tender, bursting with flavors, and an absolute must-try. The portions were generous, making it excellent value for money. I highly recommend Brothers for a flavorful and satisfying meal!

First time trying out Somali food and oh my goodness, what a brilliant selection of dishes I’ve been missing.Felt like home cooked food and really fresh.The place itself isn’t the most decorative but the food is absolute quality!The big sharing plates are amazing too, all part of the experience.If you’re not to fussed of fancy decor and nice chairs and want more quality food, I cannot recommend this place more!
