Visiting with a fairly large group on Thursday evening. I wasn’t expecting the best but ended up being pleasantly surprised by the service here. All the staff were super friendly and accommodated some potentially annoying requests with ease, plus the service throughout our visit was both fast and truly attentive. The food was exactly as you’d expect from the chain but there was nothing to complain about in terms of presentation or portion sizes.Toilets are upstairs which might not prove to be the most convenient for some people but at least they were clean and with the brilliant staff it ended up being a great evening. No complaints at all and would happily return for a casual evening meal.

Me and my family went to pizza express yesterday evening before we went to see a show. We experienced outstanding service from the moment we walked into the door, we hadn’t booked and were in quite a rush and they were so accommodating. The food came really quickly and tasted delicious. I have quite specific dietary requirements but they accommodated so well. And special thanks to our wonderful waiter Ethan who was so kind and helpful for the duration of our evening. Thank you Ethan and to the rest of the staff at pizza express.

After an excellent experience at Salford Quays with my family. I thought it was only right to emphasise how good it was. One word for our waiter, outstanding. Harry could not do enough for us. My two kids were besotted with him, he really engaged with them which my husband and I both appreciated. Even thought it was extremely busy, he was brilliant. Overall experience. 100000/10. I would definitely recommend. Thank you, Harry for making our once in a lifetime trip so memorable.

The renovation looks fantastic, really nice atmosphere and music. Very quick service and lovely,friendly staff. New menu has loads of choice and everything was delicious... great pizza express on the quays!

We visited the restaurant as a birthday treat for my Grandson. Upon entering the restaurant we was greeted by a lovely young man who showed us to our table. From then on our visit went downhill. The lady came to take our order...she had a grim expression on her face . She actually made us feel as if we should apologise for being there ! We ordered and my husband was last to order he actually said to her has it been a bad day to which she replied yes it had ! As this was a birthday treat I approached her at the computer . I said excuse me but do you think you could try a little smile and be a bit more amiable as it is my Grandsons birthday and you made us feel uncomfortable as you was a bit rude to which she turned to me and told me how rude I was and she would refuse to serve us. She came over to our table and started asking the table next to us was she rude they were most embarrassed by her behaviour . I asked to speak to the manager which she told us she was. We asked for her name Gabriella ...my daughter took my Grandsons outside. Perhaps she should take a leaf out of the polite young man that showed us in. Her behaviour was abominable. We left and went to Pizza express in Piccadilly gardens where they were absolutely lovely. I would not recommend this Pizza Express at all. If Gabriella is the manager perhaps she should go on a customer service course at Piccadilly Gardens for them to show her how to behave. A smile costs nothing Gabriella.

We'd booked a table for 4pm but after a 400 mile drive from Kent actually arrived at 3 and even though they were extremely busy they fitted us in early. Great service.

Came with a friend, ordered the chilli prawns which did not taste great at all with the dough balls. The dynamite dough balls were also not all that. Ordered a pizza on the waiter’s recommendation it’s came like warm it’s wasn’t all bad, my mate ordered a pasta dish let’s say we would’ve be coming back in a hurry. We was hungry so we ate what we had.

It was good, just a bit overpriced. The pizza was £15,95, it was big but really thin…thinner than a typical Italian pizza. Service and atmosphere were great.

Located within walking distance of Old Trafford, so ideal for a pre match Pizza. We were asked if we had booked, but then offered us a seat with at least a 45 minute wait for food…in reality we had our drinks and dough balls, and pizzas in 20 minutes! Decent service too, so would recommend this outlet.

Since we had had a good experience in the other branch of Pizza Express, we had high expectations for this one. However, we were disappointed by the TERIBLE customer service we experienced from the moment we entered until we left the restaurant.Can you believe that you asked for dessert after your main course, and they coldly replied that it might take a long time because there were a lot of customers with big parties?
