While waiting to pay at the till I checked the date on the only food item I had in my basket and to my surprise it was 2 months out of date, I checked with the sales assistant if that was the best before date and he confirmed it was . At that point decided not to buy it .

Staff were really nice, they asked me if I was looking for anything in particular as they saw me looking at the same shelf for 5 minutes, 2 of them then came to help me, they found what I wanted in about a second, they also managed to find out the price for me as it didn't have a label on the shelf.There was more Christmas items than Halloween items, even though Halloween is closer. Though I still managed to get a few Halloween things, but not all of the ones I wanted. Apart from this, this is a really nice b&m, friendly and helpful staff, and the place itself has AMAZING stock, just how it looks on the photos.

Decent sized shop and good availability but checking out is awful. Only one till manned during quieter times, fare enough but when a large queue appears staff in the area just walk by. One member of staff recently had a second till point open but closed it ignoring me and several others waiting behind a large trolley shop!

Not quite sure what to expect as haven't visited a B&M in many years. Found it full of brand names at expensive supermarket prices. Not quite the bargain shopping I had once remembered, maybe wrongly. Will stick to Aldi instead.

While the shop is great, the member of staff behind the till was very rude, my wife spoke to her and she completely blanked us both, no hello, just passed the recept as she turned away and mumbled somthing, can only assume she thought we were on holiday and she doesn't like holiday makers, deffinatly won't be using this shop again.

Waste of time having an inshore phone number. All you get is a recorded message. Wanted to find out if they sell cordless vacuums, before I drive 20 miles to their store.

Great variety of things. Found some fabulous retro sweets and crisps from when I was a child. Very good garden centre and section too. Homewares was really handy with a good selection of storage ideas. But...don't expect it to be cheap. From the way I had heard people talk about it I had imagined it to be more like home bargains etc and quite cheap. They do have some good offers but in general mostly standard prices. Sales are good. Definitely worth a visit if you've not been in one before!
