Huge buns! And very tasty. Especially recommend the cinnamon buns, Bath buns and bread pudding. Any one will keep you going for hours!

Great bakery in the Old Kent Market. Excellent white sourdough bread, granary cobb and tiger bread – and many other breads. Great selection of pastries, and moreish hot cross buns all year round. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hardest working bakery in Thanet.

On a short weekend trip to Margate I went to Old Kent Market which I'd fully recommend to anyone visiting the area. Lots of lovely businesses inside and got some hot cross buns from Gina's Old Kent Bakery which are by far the best I've ever had - truly amazing. Just a shame I didn't get chance to try more baked goods. Will definitely return next time I'm in Margate.
