Worth the hype! Best chicken I've ever eaten, portion sizes really are as huge as they seem in photos! Also the biggest milkshakes I've ever had. We had the gingerbread and oreo and both were delicious with a generous amount of cream and sauce on top. Salt n chilli chips were banging, just like a Chinese takeaway! I had the red velvet cake for dessert, it was yummy but nothing special compared to the mains and drinks. The restaurant itself is small (I'd recommend booking) but personally, I loved the aesthetic. Pics of classic rock n roll artists plastered all over the walls. Classic rock music playing which was a huge plus for us! The atmosphere was great for a Friday night, and the restaurant was constantly busy and didn't look like it would be getting any quieter when we left about 8.30pm. Our waiter, Jamie, was really friendly and supr attentive! Will definitely be back.

I Went here with friends and had a great time!many of the drinks were on special and they were super fun and delicious! The chicken was to die for and massive. Definitely come here when you are hungry, thirsty, or just wanting to hang out in a cool atmosphere!

We went to Bucks Bar for a team lunch during the week. The bar itself is like a 70s rock bar which is very cool with fun lights and signage.We went for the Express Lunch as it was only £12 and was a massive portion. I had the chicken popcorn and twice cooked chips. Really good value for money and the food was very tasty. There was a great range of dips and hot sauces available too.A couple of people upgraded to burgers which are huge!!!Would recommend but note that the portions are huge!

Great buttermilk fried chicken burger,among some of the best I have ever had. Shocked by the generous portion, the chicken was huge, with lots of chips. Really well fried with a crispy coat, while the meat was still juicy. Complimented with loads of chips - I tried both plain and salt & chilli and I recommend the latter one. Nice mojito as well - there was an offer where selected drinks got the price halved. A good option for a pre-show meal as it’s right next to the Usher Hall.

So happy bucks is finally in Edinburgh and it hasn’t disappointed. Food was delicious and staff friendly. The venue is quite small so would reccomend booking in advance so yours not disappointed. Please start your delivery service soon so I can get my fix at home too

Fantastic!!!! Only regret is not visiting the restaurant ages ago.Looking forward to coming back.The chicken is simply fantastic, staff are really down to earth, friendly and awesome. It has a great vibeCan't recommend it any higher, love it.Best bit; there's a gluten free menu with plenty of gluten free options available!!

Amazing atmosphere and super helpful staff! The music slaps and interior is so cool! The vegan burgers are delicious, I just wish there was slightly more options for vegan sides/burger flavours. Vegan waffles would be a dream. The chilli burger is the best, I’ve tried all 3 vgn options and the chilli one wins all the way. Beer is nice and cold and prices reasonable. Big portions and the funky sauces are bomb! Will be back.

Cool rock bar vibe with a great atmosphere inside. We arrived without a booking but our greeter went out of the way to get us a table. I ordered the Gravy Train burger for just under £16. It was massive! The fried chicken was both succulent and crispy with nutty hash browns and American cheese. The salt and chilli fries were very moreish with fresh chillies and crunchy spring onions providing a welcome fresh element. My girlfriend had fried chicken which was another mammoth portion we ended up taking home. The staff were really excellent throughout and made the experience memorable. Look forward to our next visit to try the interesting cocktails on offer.

Popped in here on off chance they had a table. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated promptly. Lovely cold beers and great food menu. We ordered 4 starters to share and every one was superb. We’ll definitely be back to sample the remainder of the menu!
