I will have no hesitation in recommending S. Critchley & Son because I cannot thank them enough for the service they have provided for me.Polite, caring and courteous at all times, the staff took time to explain at each stage what would happen from design to getting permissions, production, proofing and viewing the finished item, and then the installation process.Nothing was too much trouble, (almost) everything was possible and the attention to detail was outstanding.They took hold of the whole process and kept me informed at each step.I really liked it that they phoned before sending e-mails, in case it was a shock or upsetting to receive them , and they never promised what they could not do!Thank you.

From the 1st phone call to the last call Crichleys have been brilliant, even when the family headstone couldn't be place due to bad weather the staff were great. Keeping us up to date with all the progress then finally sending me confirmation that all was done and a photo too. Great work all of you from Diana Steven and family.

We cannot thank Critchley & Son enough! From start to finish, we were made to feel important. Nothing was too much trouble. Removing the original headstone to add new engraving and then to return back to the cemetery. Also phoning in advance to let us know the headstone was being returned to the cemetery, so as not to cause us upset on visiting the grave and being unprepared to see it there. The headstone now looks like new and the lettering is perfect.Helping us through this difficult time with their knowledge and understanding.Genuine, kind , thoughtful. Thank you , highly recommend.

We were treated with outstanding service and as we are living in Canada the communication (which was excellent) was very important to us. We were notified of progress every step of the way (Thank you June!). We will be viewing the stone next summer but from the photographs it looks perfect and exactly as we ordered. We are giving Critchleys our highest recommendation.

I am very impressed with the service given to me by Critchleys. Faced with protracted delays by the Probate Office preventing the inscription for my brother on the headstone, the staff kept me well informed regarding procedures required by Salford Council to permit the engraving to go ahead. I am extremely grateful for the kindness of the staff throughout the almost two years it took to complete the job. The first visit we made to your premises in agecroft we found the staff very helpful and understood our needs and once we had chosen our memorial we were kept informed every fortnight about the progress of our memorial.
