I bought a knife today and my experience wasn't very good.1. After asking for different knifes they had, no employee was able to give me proper advice (they don't know their products, basically).2. After taking a few minutes to decide, I bought the most expensive option. No one told me they DON'T REFUND their items, but give you a store card that you have to spend in 2 weeks instead.3. I changed my mind and decided to exchange the knife for a cheaper one, so I came back to the store LITERALLY LESS THAN 2 HOURS after I made my first purchase. They refused to make a refund and gave me their store voucher. I told them I had literally bought the item 2 hours ago. Their only answer was: it's in the receipt.* Dear store manager: I don't get the receipt until I actually purchase an item, therefore the only way of knowing you don't refund items is asking this before. Since It's the first time I see this (even though I've been working in retail for years), and NO ONE actually told me anything, despite knowing I was hesitating between those 2 items, I think it's not very professional to refuse to make a refund, specially if a new customer comes 2 hours after the item has been purchased. Also, I don't think the best way of competing with bigger stores -which, by the way, sell the same items as you, is 'stealing' money and upsetting new, potential customers from the area.So yes, your answer has been technically right, but ethically unfair and not very honest.

Holly and her team are always so helpful and knowledgable about their products. Perfect for gifts and well as for home. The only problem with the store is that I want everything!

Prep sells really nice items. However, my last experience was extremely upsetting. The woman behind the counter performed the whole sale while talking on the phone. She was chatting and having a great time and did not bother responding to me when I said hello, she did not even look at me or talk to me at all. Her only interaction was to push the payment terminal and the item I bought towards me, which felt terribly rude. All this without looking at me. Luckily, a colleague of hers stepped in to offer a bag. You will not be surprise if I tell you she did not say bye.

If you look for unique kitchen stuff, this is the place for you, where you can find a wide range of stylish products you can't find in the supermarkets. Even browsing the cookshop is a lovely experience. As a classic and cosy store, the amiable staff are very caring and accommodating.

I popped into this cute cookware shop to write a review for my blog. What a lovely independent shop this is, a brilliant place for cooks and anyone who wants a useful kitchen item or a housewarming gift. They sell kitchenware, tableware, barware, coffee and tea making items, etc. You can buy everything from kitchen tea towels to oven gloves, lunch bags, lunch boxes, drinking bottles, salt and pepper mills, kitchen knives, dining table candles and so much more. Brands featured range from Lodge to Kuhn Rikon, Broste Copenhagen, Helen B, and Mepal. I took plenty of pictures which I will post so you can take a look. There is also a basement so make sure you take a look down there.

I've been to this shop at least a dozen times since it opened and have always had a good experience. It's small and charming, and packed with the loveliest products. It's just what Church Street has needed.
