A tucked away recreation ground encompassing a large & modern community centre, football pitches & associated changing areas, half pipe skateboard ramp and large play area with feature for ages from toddler to teenager.Community Centre has a large car park and is available for hire. Grounds are well maintained by dedicated groundsmen.Play park includes modern 'bleep' games with lights to hit in sequencing order to ascertain a high score. Standard slide, swings and see-saw can also be found here. Has 3 entry points for pedestrian although only one for vehicles via Fryern Close

I visited this park over the Bank Holiday weekend for a fete, and can day that it was very enjoyable. This park is easily accessible and has plenty for the kids to do

Nice well maintained and tidy except for occasional picknickes leaving there rubbish for others to clear up despite ample bins. The same for a few small dog owners who refuse to pick up their dogs waste

Nice clean field for playing and dog walking, also has a kids play area and courts for tennis or football. Once a year there is fryern funtasia which is held on the field on the may bank holiday and full of lots of fun activities and entertainment for the family.

The lovely groundsmen need a special mention. They keep the park looking beautiful, despite some users being incapable of walking a couple of feet to put their rubbish in one of the many bins, especially by the children's playground.

Fryern Recreation Ground
This park is a wonderful place to walk the dog, or just go for an afternoon stroll. There are always friendly locals to talk to, as everyone loves making conversation. Football games are often hosted, as well as a small clubhouse which seems to host events on certain days. Visit this park almost every day and will continue to do so.

Decent car park, pavillion with function rooms for hire and the rec has lots for kids to play on. Big grass area with football pitches and a small wooded area at the northern end. A (very) small area is planted as a wild flower meadow in the summer. Quite a bit of open grassy space that doesn't seem to be used for anything - shame it's not used for more wild flowers.Quite a few dogs walked here so watch where you step - the problem of irresponsible owners seems to be getting worse even though there are plenty of bins....

Great space with good childrens play area and football pitches. Home of Chandlers Ford Parish Council offices and community centre. Excellent facilities.
