Appalling company. Ordered some plum slate and paid extra for it to be delivered the next day on a Friday. Had email from them to say it will not be delivered till the following Monday. Sent four messages to them about a partial refund of the delivery charges and didn't get a single reply. Their only contact number is a premium rate 0845 number. Disgusting service and i'd advise to avoid using at all costs

Ordered bulk sack of plum slate, as they were around £80 cheaper than local companies. Website advised 48 hour standard delivery. Placed order and paid with credit card, received email stating order was being processed and then nothing since. Day before delivery was due I emailed company to ask if they could confirm delivery details but still haven't had a reply...the slate was delived an hour ago (at 4pm) so within the 48 hours but just feel relieved I was at home to receive it! It came on a huge wagon, (which you are told about on the website) and the driver helped my husband move it to the required area of our garden. Overall a good" experience

Very pleased with the Scottish pebbles we ordered, one bulk bag, great price and delivered on time. After payment confirmation email, there is no email to confirm delivery but I emailed them and they replied immediately. Will use them again for future projects, thank you.

Placed an order for 4 bulk bags, money taken and eventually a date given for delivery which was different to the date given at point of ordering. Haulage company sent an 18 tonne lorry which was far too big for estate, they even told the driver he wouldn't be able to deliver. Slightly smaller lorry would have been better and neighbours had similar delivery from another company successfully that morning. Driver said they would look into a smaller lorry to get goods to us but Aggregates Direct said they couldn't make the delivery. Still waiting for refund for goods but they won't refunded delivery costs. (half of the cost of the total order) Delivery issues are not my fault but of the haulage company who knew prior to coming they were sending a lorry that was too big. Do NOT use this company as you WILL be out of pocket.

No problems whatsoever, service was good right up to the delivery*edit*Ended up ordering another bulk bag of chippings. Service was just as good as the first time. It's easy enough to order, and both my deliveries arrived earlier than expected, delivery driver had no problems dropping pallet on my drive, and was very helpful, communication for both orders was good. I'd definitely recommend this company.

Ordered 2 jumbo bags of gravel. Great service. Great price. Friendly. Little hick up with a breakdown on delivery, but these things happen and it was resolved immediately. Honestly had no issues. Will use again, no hesitation.

I ordered on Wednesday eve and was delivered by 9am on Friday. The delivery driver was really helpful, I had a bill before my drive and he tied to get the pallets up there but we couldn’t in the end. Couldn’t have asked for better delivery. The product was good also.I was a bit wary of the reviews on here being so low (only saw them after I ordered) but I can say that my experience was very positive.

Avoid if you want a simply request done right. I ordered a ton bag of cotswold gravel and stated where I would like it placed when delivered and if there was a problem please contact immediately if there would be an issue. Part concrete drive with no hassle of previous pallet truck deliveries by other companies. You guested it, They dropped it part on a footpath and part on the road. Blocking my driveway, my neighbours and my opposite neighbours to get his van in. The pallet has split due to being placed on unlevel ground. I asked to speak to the manager after 4 attempts of communication wanting a resolvance to happen and asked a explainantion, which was not satisfactory to the point I am unable to move myself with a spinal injury. ( They use a haulage transport company in liason to deliver material) We cannot park near our house or pur neighbours and been told 3 times a driver will be out to rectify the situation. Its 7.30pm now and this was delivered 11am ish. Photo evidence I have but cannot unload shows the poor delivered service and the lack of customer notification of an issue. I sent them all evidence via email with no response or driver turning up.If they had contacted me I would have said take your gravel back and I'll go elsewhere. Not worth the hassle and stress for a simple job.

ready mixed concrete at a 1/3 of price is excellent - it might be past the sell by date but so what, it still works - delivery by pallet on a battery.operated device was efficient and pleasantly suprising - staff contact was proffessional and helpfull - this is the only place to buy ready mixed concrete

I ordered a bulk bag of plum slate some months ago and was extremely happy with the service and delivery from this company. The bag arrived on time and was by far the best value I could find for delivery in my area. I also felt the delivery driver was very helpful and had no problem placing the bag in the area of my choice. I have nothing but positive comments for this company and praise them for their service in very difficult time, especially considering the current shortage in building materials and aggregates due to the current pandemic.
