Mainstream estate agents are pricey but you get what you pay for. Belgarum found a buyer quickly and saw the sale through to completion in 3 months depite some very difficult market conditions.

On several oocasions where we saw a property for sale from Belgarum we made contact with the aggressive Paul und unfriendly Alexandra at Belgarum. They have a very aggressive sales tactic intimidating possible buyers, not passing on information and lying to prospective buyers (and their own clients). Their manners and ways of communication are not professional. We were forced to make contact to the sellers avoiding Belgarum as middle man which then resulted in a successful purchase for us. Pushy, unfriendly, aggressive, not knowledgeable, desperate. This probably describes Belgarum very well.

We all can have negative expectations of estate agents. Belgarum belied all of them. They've been superlative throughout.This property was my late mother's. It went on the market two weeks before Liz Truss crashed the UK economy: truly awful timing. Belgarum have been open, communicative and supportive throughout the 15 months since, through several offers and one withdrawn sale-that-almost-got-there. They've been great at chivvying our buyer along, dealt pragmatically and smartly with a near-disaster in the shape of a broken chain, and at no point have I felt out of the loop or lacking in info.I don't live anywhere near Winchester. If I did, I'd not want to use any other agency. And if anyone in Winchester is looking to sell, I would say: don't look anywhere else. Belgarum really are all you need.

I recently purchased a property through Belgarum and was so impressed with the service I received. The initial viewing with Seanne was great and she managed the offers between me and the vendor professionally and with care. Once the purchase was agreed Vicky then managed the process from start to finish having to deal with 3 other estate agents and 4 solicitors. The purchase was not easy as there were two properties to sell from my side and then a rural managed estate at the top of the chain, Vicky was fantastic and managing the process and supporting us all through some challenging times.
