Horrendous experience - absolutely abysmal customer service.Austria is in complete lockdown and they wont cancel my flight - so have taken my money when they know VERY WELL that I cant travel there.Have called, emailed and even TWEETED multiple times with no response.Shameful will never use this airline ever again. Disgusting.

Worst international airlines I've been on. Careful of their checked bag price gimmick. Not only do you have to pay for every international checked bag, but the advertised €20 only actually works if you precheck your bag online. Sadly, if you try to check in online with an checked bag, you'd receive an error directing you to check in on site, where they'll promptly change you about €50 for your bag, up to 23kg.Try to talk this out with the human working the desk, and she'll promptly show you she's not a person, but a robotic drill sergeant whose more skilled at scolding you for requesting something as barbaric and thinking beyond her computers flowchart.Just pay the extra €50 and fly a better class airline.

Poor service.I ordered gluten free meals if the business class.The food was incredibly untasted.But they provided me the bread cold and badly dried up.And the meal I provided were only dried and COLD BREAD and the other dried up cheese and ham sandwiches.Even the staffs brought the bread with gluten bread.Strangely the normal meals were not used flowered, it looked a real gluten free.

Absolutely disgusting company. The way they treated my wife who was travelling with our 6 month baby daughter and elderly mother is something else. They didn't give a damn that it took them 4 days to get the luggage to them, without any responsibility or care. No one answering phone in working hours, got constant round around, fed by lies and not giving a damn. Had to get police involved in the end, this was when we started to get some answers. Avoid this company big time. I have traveled all over the world using many airlines and have suffered various incidents but Austrian Airlines were atrocious in this matter, even their manager. Obviously there are issues in this company with leadership.

Well I can’t speak for anyone but myself and I must say I was treated wonderfully on my flight with AA. They bumped me up to Business class and I felt spoiled rotten. My flight was only a few hours but in that time I had the most wonderful food, fabulous and attentive care from stewards/stewardesses and even got to meet the captain! I think a lot in life depends on how you treat others but I’m not criticising any other reviews on here, I’m just saying that my experience was positive and for that I am very grateful.

Never again!! What a bad experience!!!! They lost my luggage and I was obligate to by some clothes for an important meeting (they told me that they will cover the 50%). After 2 moths waiting for the money, they are saying that they will not covering this expense. Funny.... Please don't use this company.

Never Again, They did not refund my money for the returned flight that I have not used in spite of sending many emails waiting long time to speak with an agent. So, I am totally disappointed and I do not recommend Austrian Airline to anyone. I hope that I could rate 0. They do not care about people they only care about money nothing else

Don't fly with Austrian unless you want your checked luggage to disappear!!After a two and half hour delay on the flight from Vienna to London, Austrian Airlines then were unable to load my bag onto the plane on time (or as the automated e-mail I received from the airline put it We are sorry that your baggage could not be loaded on schedule.").A week later and no word on my luggage despite an e-mail to their baggage "help" section and no one answers their customer service number.Beyond poor customer service!"

I went to Austria for my business, and client booked my flight ticket. I had some issue on my ticket, went to service desk to solve the issue. The first question from service desk employee was “did you pay for the ticket? with very rude attitude ” Do you think I don’t have money…? This airline should teach service desk employees how to treat their customers when they are actually in trouble. I was very angry with that question and attitude towards me.
