Swan and Mitre
Thus pub used to be a dive but since it's refurbishment the place has really been lifted up. It's got some old school vintage pub features but modernised to have a light airy feel. The garden out the back and open window at the front make it great for summer. The range of craft beers is also good so you don't have to put up with the usual choice. I've been here a few times on weekdays and after work and it is a great place. Although I've not been on a Saturday night so I can't comment on the clientele that visit then. But by the looks of the other comments this refurbishment has been a good change for the area which has undergone a facelift in the last 2 years.

Nice beer, nice staff and potentially a nice place. On my first visit there was a dire singer competing with the sports TV. Even if the ents were better, one or the other but not both.

Such a great pub. Amazing staff and welcoming Manager, it’s great to see a manager of a pub be present to customers of all ages and be made to feel so welcome. We had some of the small plates to eat and it was good, so well presented also.Will definitely return!Thank you Nathan and Team

I visited the pub yesterday to be warmly welcomed by the team. I arrived with my partner and toddler. Initially we was just going to use the toilets what were clean. The bar staff were really friendly and welcoming. We decided to have something to eat as it was late afternoon. The member of staff behind the bar (Tattoo'd) was really pleasant and was able to recommend the burgers, to which was a great shout! My child loves pasta and the man behind the bar explained that the kids had a pasta dish to what my child ate everything with no issue.The service at the bar was excellent equally the food was well worth the money. We will definitely be returning on our next journey to Bromley - thank you!

We travelled from Sutton to meet an old friend we hadn't seen for 40 years. We had chosen the Swan & Mitre because it had a car park. The car park was extremely small (4 places max.) and full of cars whose owners were not in the pub. The adjacent public car park was very full and we had to wait to get a space.When we went into the bar we were told the kitchen was closed - the chef had failed to turn up! We had received no notification. The barman was not expecting us.The barman was extremely nice but could do little about the situation other than serve us a drink which we had to pay for, of course!We therefore had to leave and find somewhere else to eat.The pub looked as if it could have a good atmosphere but not whilst we were there. Only two other customers in so there should have been space in the car park!Very disappointing.

Absolutely love this pub! So welcoming, friendly, and great value for money! You can pop in with a group friends or if you fancy popping in on your own, you don't feel like a weird o sitting there! The Sunday dinners are just the best and great value for money! The Swan & Mitre always celebrate every holiday and go that extra mile with there decorations!! 10/10 pub x

went to the pub for the first time with friends the other day for lunch. the staff were friendly, and accommodating for the children, providing us with high chairs and a nice space for the families.the beer tasted clean and wasn't as expensive as other pubs in the area.everybody enjoyed the food including the kids which makes a nice change. all in all a very enjoyable experience

Very good off the beaten track, a beer garden, clean toilets and multiple TV every where playing Rugby..A good bar and a nice pool table.Perfect for the over 30, although every one welcome from student,NHS workers and professional worker. Staff very attentive
