Grace, I just wanted to write to say what a really super job you guys have delivered – our kitchen looks amazing!The workmanship that was initially undertaken by John in templating the worktops, and then his cutting of the Calacatta Gold quartz to include matching veining wherever he could, was followed by Erlin’s fitting which has been really first class – we’re delighted!So, many thanks Grace to you and your team of craftsmen for producing such a fine result and cost-effectively transforming our kitchen.

We had an outdoor table top installed on our patio to complete our new pizza oven and BBQ area, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Marble 2 Marvel. Everything went completely smoothly all the way through from selection of material to its installation. I had originally opted for a more expensive material but was advised that this would be impractical and instead went with the advice offered by Avi and Stella. The lead time was impressively short and delivery/installation flawless despite the weight and size of the top. I have to revise my initial review as after having had the worktops installed for only a few months a crack has appeared. After contacting marble to marvel I found the owner Avi to be exceptionally confrontational, flat out denying any the existence of any kind of warranty, and threatening that the repair would be at my expense as clearly the cabinets had moved and this is not his fault - despite having paid for them to template and check specifically that the carpenter had put enough support in at the time!But in the end it was the deeply unprofessional attitude, and complete lack of any after sales care that really upset me.Rather than apologising that this has happened to my very expensive new worktops, Avi instead chose to complain that I had always been a difficult customer, I believe relating to the fact that I had been quite specific about the look of the slab that I wanted during the sourcing stage etc. And then referring to the fact I had only given him a 4 star review as being the reason that he wasn’t going to honour any sort of warranty.I had previously given 4 stars as Avi had become emotional and unprofessional during one our meetings, storming out of the warehouse in a huff, leading me to think that he is perhaps not the most straight forward person to deal with. However, previously I elected to give him the benefit of the doubt and not actually mention that in the reviewTo sum up, personally I would never work with these people again. I’m sure if you just want some worktops and don’t have a particularly detailed spec in mind then they’re just fine. But for a discerning customer who expects a good level of communication and service, I highly recommend looking elsewhere, as once you get on the wrong side of Avi’s hot headed temper, suddenly you’ll find the price going up a refusal to offer any after sales service at all.Very disappointed. To think how easy it would have been for them to make this a 5 star review and have a happy customer, by simply doing the decent thing and offering to repair the crack free of charge as most business would !Original review below:Marble 2 Marvel were great to work with on our recent kitchen project. We were very particular about the look of the marble that we wanted, definitely not the easiest of customers. But eventually they managed to source a block in Italy that met the criteria. I was then able to view the slab in person once it was imported at the importers site in London before making a final commitment.Templating and fitting went smoothly, and the team were careful not to cause any damage whilst installing it.Would definitely recommend, and will likely be using them again in the future.

We have used Marvel to Marble twice, most recently for our new kitchen worksurface. We were really specific (ie: fussy!) about what we wanted and eventually the slabs were sourced and honed in Italy due to their uniqueness. The cutting and edge detailing is excellent and exactly as we wanted. And the fitting service was perfect. Thank you.

Excellent service. From the very start, Grace was so patient and understanding helping me choose the right match to what I had seen in pictures online. The templating and fitting was faultless and all staff I had dealings with were highly professional and polite. Very clean, tidy and respectful. Great service and I am so pleased with the result.

We had our 20mm quartz worktop and upstands installed on 28-Sep by John and the team. It has been a great experience to deal with all at Marble 2 Marvel from start to finish and so I felt compelled to share our experience.Grace was great at helping us select a product that both matched our kitchen design and fit within our budget at a competitive price. We also found corresponding with her (both phone and email) very easy with all of our queries clearly and concisely answered. We fitted our kitchen ourselves and so had a number of queries throughout the process to ensure the undermount sink and tap would be located correctly, which all worked out perfectly with the teams advice.John was excellent for both templating and fitting - very personable and nothing was too much trouble; a pleasure to work with. He even assisted with adapting the sink unit on the day which needed an additional section cut-out. One of our concerns in our pre-fitting correspondence was the sink but he had a solution for a far more robust and less intrusive sink mounting system (this is an optional add-on) and saved us a lot of hassle. You could really tell that John was an expert at what he did which gave us great confidence. From templating to install was just one week, which we were thankful of so we could continue with our project.Based on our experience I would certainly recommend Marble 2 Marvel and would work with them again.

BE AWARE! FULL PAYMENT IS REQUESTED *BEFORE* COMPLETION OF JOB.I found generally positive online reviews of my local stone supplier Marble 2 Marvel, so approached them for a quotation to replace my laminate kitchen countertops with quartz. Receptionist Grace was extremely helpful in explaining my options and guiding me through samples. (My one-star review in no way reflects on the service I received from her, but on the firm's practice as detailed below.)The sticking point came with terms and conditions. She told me terms of payment are half on commission, the other half BEFORE final installation. I commented this a was highly unusual request. She repeated it was part of the t&c.Under the very best of circumstances, I would regard this as a demand too far, and highly risky for any customer paying for any substantial building job. I have never agreed, nor been asked to agree, to such terms for any such job in the past.On top of which, the less favourable reviews show that customers of Marble 2 Marvel sometimes do not enjoy the best of circumstances during their installations. There are some accounts of delays in completion dates, and even a few of repeated delays lasting weeks.In my case, I was replacing existing countertops, so this might have meant me iiving without any, and also without running water in the kitchen while the sink tap was temporarily removed, for days or weeks on end. All while having already paid the entire cost, running into thousands of pounds, upfront.Each customer must make up their own mind about such risks. In my case, I decided not even to proceed to a full quotation, but instead went with one among several from competitors, all of who follow the customary trade practice of requiring half the payment on commission, half on completion.I would strongly urge Marble 2 Marvel to revise its t&c in line with the industry norm.

Brilliant company. Everybody I came into contact with was polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great communication throughout. The people in this company are experts at what they do, and I now have some really fabulous polished granite kitchen counter tops. Everybody who sees them is impressed. Thank you.
