The young server was lovely. We stated we wanted a table but just for drinks. When we got to the table, we put our stuff on the table. We were asked to remove the kids' bottles of pop, which was fine. But she kept coming out and glaring.. Anyway, I ordered the drinks and enjoyed them. The manager then stated that after knowing we were there for drinks, one of us had to order a meal. At this point, we had already decided we were going to leave. The atmosphere was frosty! As we were leaving, the manager came out to speak to some guy in a security outfit, and she started swearing and pointing to the other side of the place.I wouldn't recommend this place, not friendly at all. And unfortunately that was down to the manager!

The most tasty burger we have probably had in Glasgow.In the merchant city, really nice restaurant.We tried the nachos with cheese (it's a must, thank me later), and two different burgers. Both were so tasty and fresh. The portion of the burger is not the biggest but it's really good. The cookie Sundae was really good as well.The staff was very nice and helpful.Prices are normal.Highly recommended and definitely going back.

The food was, amazing. We had a cocktail each to start. A strawberry slupee and a blue Raspberry lemonade. Both were amazing.We had loaded pull pork fries. Onion rings a bbq rodeo burger and a firecracker burger. Every bite we had was superb. The chicken in the firecracker burger was so juicy and cooked perfect. The pulle pork of the chips was truly amazing. The onion rings had a cracking crunch and flavour.It is first time I have been to eat out in a long time where I did not need to add salt or pepper. Every thing was seasoned perfect.The puddings were strawberry meringue and a choc orange cheesecake. These were the only disappointments of the night. The cheesecake was a flan. There was no cheesecake filling. It was a orange chocolate torte. The meringue was not home made and was ridiculously sweet. Far too much suger used in it. It was meant to have strawberries and Raspberries but they were missing.The desert did not take anything from the meal. So 5 stars it still gets.The staff are also very good. They are very attentive and are good for a laugh.Can't wait to go back

We’ve been here multiple times before and never been disappointed. Food and cocktails are always pretty decent and reliable! However, last night the service was pretty poor despite the restaurant being quiet. A few issues too with cocktails being correct.For the price you’d just hope for something a little better!

Food was okay - we had to order through the app as they were very short staffed. We were seated in a very dark corner and had to use the light on our phones to see the menu. Staff were nice enough, but scarce on the ground. Don't think we'll be rushing back.

3 adults and 2 children went in for something to eat. We waited 15 mins before we had to go up to the till and ask if someone could come and take our order. We waited a further 20 mins to get our drinks delivered well half of the order came after 20 mins and we waited another 10 mins for the soft drinks. Food was almost 1 hour and to say we were underwhelmed was an understatement. Almost £9 for a burger £5 for fries our burgers were exactly the same size as the kids burgers which was £4.99. 4 times someone came to the table after we finished our food and none of them thought that clearing the table would have been a good idea. Kids ice cream came and still the dirty plates remained. The service was probably the worst I have experienced in a long time.. value for money 1 out of 10... I won't be going back

Really disappointing visit to one of our favourite places to eat. Firstly, Items unavailable from the menu which was really annoying - especially on a Saturday. My partner was served his food first and I had to sit and wait nearly 10 minutes for mine to arrive (thankfully the manager was on the ball and clocked that I was still waiting). Most importantly, our food - very sub par. I love this restaurant for their wide variety of vegetarian burgers but it was just over cooked, dry and tasteless this time. You’d think the chef paid for the cheese out his own wage as I received the tiniest hint of it on my burger. I had to use a left over side salad to try make it a bit more appetising. My partner’s chicken burger was decent. Both of our chips were extremely and very visibly over cooked yet still served to us.Really sad and disappointing visit. Particularly when it’s the run up to Christmas, £60 for two burgers was actually quite infuriating. Don’t know if I’d return to this particular restaurant.

The rib platter was amazing! Fall off the bone meat, good slaw and corn! I was looking for a home style" menu and this 1 rocked it ! Thank you!!! Servers were great too

I am not someone who writes reviews but I think it needs to be done on this occasion. My partner and I went to MJ’s tonight for the first time and can hand on heart say I think this is the worst meal I have ever paid for.Waiter got caught out trying to tell me my drink was Pepsi when it was cleared up by another waiter that they do not even sell Pepsi. Not a great start but we remained hopeful.Food arrived, my burger had burger sauce on it - when brought to the waitresses attention she said she will scrape it off the bun. Wait, What?! But okay…My partner then asked the same waitress for a fork as they were not on the table waiting for us… only to be told “yeah of course, sorry, someone keeps stealing our forks, let me try and find you some”. Hang on, it gets worse…As if this experience wasn’t wacky enough - the food itself was also a complete right off. My girlfriend found a long blonde hair right at the top of her fries - which she just picked out as didn’t want to be a drama Queen… but then found 2 small hairs on her burger too! My burger hand no patty on it, just broken up and crumbling lumps of beef, dry as sand.I know that reading the above you must be thinking surely no?! Or we are some sort of Karen’s, but we really aren’t. We are just normal people, this genuinely is how bad our whole experience was, it is laughable in hindsight.The waiter at the end asked us how our food was. And to avoid making a scene we subtly hinted it was the best but paid our bill and left.I would not recommend.
