Batch Distillery

Great place to buy gin. good prices, prompt delivery. I have just tried their Aggie's Shack gin which has a nice complex set of flavours and I will be placing another order.

I had the worst experience with their delivery service. I purchased a bottle of gin as a gift and I mentioned on the delivery details that my building has no doorbell so they can just drop me a text or WhatsApp to come down and meet them at the front door. But those guys used Royal Mail and they never passed on the delivery instructions. Bottom line is, day 1 Royal Mail sends me an e-mail with a 2 hour window of delivery, there was no way to track the delivery track in real time, the guys come don't find a doorbell and leave without even notifying me to come down. Day 2 they do the same without even dropping me an e-mail this time. I had to struggle with the customer service to make them drop the parcel to a local post office. I wouldn't recommend Batch distillery if you don't live in a building with a concierge or have a post box.

Excellent service and fast delivery, but more important, Batch gin is one of the best. Buddha’s Hand is a smooth flavoursome gin with natural oriental spices. It’ my second bottle and won’t be the last. However the real star of the show is Batch Industrial. I have quite a few gins in the cupboard, but Batch Industrial is top pick every time. Absolutely one of the very best tasting and smoothest gins out there. Not sure how they make such a strong gin so smooth and full of beautiful natural flavours, but they do and they do it well.

These are brilliant gins from a brilliant company pushing at the flavour boundries with, in my view, fabulous effect. You must try them they are spectacular.
