Rehearsed at Colossus a few times now. Dec is a great host, professional, knowledgable and always on hand for advice. Good location, good facilities, easy parking .... top studio! Highly recommended!

I Tony Mcvey attended a recording session at colossus studios yesterday 22/10/22. I met Dec at the door and felt at ease right away with the set up and with his expertise.We began putting down each song in turn, not sure how many we would get done. I'd brought 10 songs to do, not thinking i would get them all done.Sure enough Dec was very patient with me and only moved on to the next track when he knew i was happy with what we'd done.As the afternoon progressed i felt more confident we'd be able to cover all 10 songs. Sure enough the songs i'd chosen got more demanding for myself as time went on. I left the higher pitched songs for later on as my voice got a bit more used to being stretched. Two songs in particular gave me real challenge, but Dec managed to rig up a way that made the execution of tracks far easier. Even though the songs seemed impossible to do at one point, with Dec's encouragement and skill i got there in the end.Time seemed to fly, got there at 12.30 and came away at 6pm. This was a birthday present from my daughter and her partner, Elle and Rob and my son Jack. ( by the way 60 is no barrier to trying something new. )In the end i walked away with 10 recorded songs which i played to my son, Jack on Saturday night while we played darts. ( that was to try to put him off his game! ) He was genuinely impressed with the quality of the whole experience.What a fantastic present, made all the more enjoyable by Dec who was and is a thoroughly professional, patient and pleasant guy, i recommend you have a go, record some songs at colossus Studios.Thanks again, Tony Mcvey.

Thanks to Dec @ Colossus Studios for housing our band for weekly rehearsal sessions. The space is well equipped and inviting, and Dec is always helpful - we look forward to seeing him and continuing to use the space on a regular basis.

Declan was friendly,easy to work with and made me feel comfortable. Everything was Very professional and he finished my project quickly and perfectly, I’m very happy with the end result. Definitely recommend.
