Phil Jones is an absolute con man. Please avoid this company at all costs. He will ask for money up front for building materials and you will never hear from him again as has happened to my elderly parents. He will block your number and email address. He should be tending gardens in prison and not be free to rip people off.

Phil Jones (Home & Garden Alliance) – for me worst tradesman ever! For a start, in the contract he wanted £180 a day just for him to manage the job i.e., sort out the materials, make sure his men arrive on site and on time and keep them on target for quality of work - none of this happened – everything went wrong! His tradesmen were not fit for purpose, they arrive late and/or do not turn up, one of them told me he was actually a chef not a builder! Phil Jones main work mostly involved persistent demands for money and before works were done or materials purchased. No payment terms were agreed at the beginning of the contract, however, I was bombard with emails and text messages urging payment every Thursday or Friday at 4pm, because he needs to pay his workers by 4:30pm, otherwise they will not work the following week! Do not ever pay this man upfront or before the work is finished and you have checked the quality of their work. As per an independent expert report I commissioned from Watts Holt Surveyors the standard of workmanship was appalling. The work completed was woefully incompetent
