Cameron Bosque Brookes Architects
I appointed Cameron Bosque as architects for a large self-build house project, which incorporates 8000 sq ft and includes a basement. From the very outset it was clear that Grant's skills combined the perfect balance of taking our brief, whilst also bringing fantastic vision and creativity to the development. This excellent attributes added amazing value to the original concept conceived by us. We were presented multiple solutions and ideas about how me might be able to achieve the project. Grant is incredibly easy to work with and balances degrees of listening (to the client) with value input to enhance a project just perfectly. Our planning journey was arduous and we were supported and guided all the way by Grant, who ultimately helped us get it approved. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cameron Bosque (and Grant himself) to anyone embarking on any type of development project. Should I ever attempt a similar project in the future, I would only make one phone call - to Cameron Bosque. In percentage terms I would honestly mark them 100%.

we have/had a great experience working with Grant. we loved the plans he came up with after listening to all our requirements. we loved some of his ideas on how he was able to bring more light into our home. Some of those ideas would have never really occurred to us. Subsequently, he worked with the council to get the plans submitted/approved and then put us in in touch with an excellent structural engineer to get the drawings completed. He also helped us with our party wall agreement and provided all required clarifications for us to get going with the build. He got us in touch with the builder too!. I would highly recommend him for the quality of his work and how responsive he has always been towards our project

This was my first time employing the services of an Architect, and not really knowing what to expect I was a little nervous about being given a ludicrous plan that I either didn't want or couldn't afford. My finances were the priority and naively I only had the TV programmes to go on, where everything seems to spiral out of control with bad planning. Grant was a straight talking godsend and listened to my ideas and my quirks, and offered great advice. I was worried that I would offend an architect if I didn't accept 'all' their ideas but Grant worked hard to make my ideas come alive and only really changed or offered alternatives with excellent reasoning, all the time explaining why I should or shouldn't. He made the process easy, taking care of all the planning submission and follow up, and kept me informed at every stage. The quote given at the beginning of this process didn't waver, and so I paid exactly what I had anticipated, which was so important to me. As I learned about alternatives during the build, Grant was on hand to advise what could and couldn't be changed within the criteria we had approved, and helped to submit a change which I needed approval for. My builders never had an issue with any of the drawings done, and the build went as smoothly as it could possibly have done during a pandemic. I can highly recommend Grant and Cameron Bosque Brookes Architects. They were a pleasure to deal with.

We found Grant and his company online. Throughout our planning process we found the service responsive, friendly and Grant was most approachable too.His assistance in achieving the end result- “planning consent” is very much appreciated. This included supplying drawings for consent, to building regulations drawings and commentary, to recommending the structural engineer, a local builder and even a company to supplying trusses for the roof. It definitely allowed us scope to consider our build and renovation plan. Thanks Grant and your team.

Grant went above and beyond to design our rear extension to how we wanted it, he was very reactive for the site visit and advised us accordingly in preparation for loft extension. He handed over an extremely comprehensive set of drawings along with working along side the Structural Engineer managed to get everything over to us really smoothly. He dealt with our council applications and we couldn’t ask for a better service. We will definitely be using him again and can recommend him highly.Thanks again Grant

I got in touch with Grant Cameron about remodelling the house to get more light in. He is very reactive with messages and was great to communicate with to arrange the first visit.He listened to what I wanted, gave me a realistic vision of what was possible and would make sense. He explained both the vision and the details very clearly, sent a drawing that was true to what he had explained and got it through planning approval. I am at the stage of getting quotes from builders, for which Grant also gave me a recommendation. A very efficient and personable service and I absolutely recommend the company. I feel that paying for the initial visit was worth it.

Working with Grant has been a very positive experience. Throughout the process, from design options to multiple planning applications, to project and cost management Grant has been both responsive and creative in dealing with any queries we've had and coming up with creative solutions as problems arose. He has a good working relationship with the builder we are using and clear communication has been very helpful.
