Gracie Barra

My little boy Maximus joined Gracie Barra Cannock 5 weeks ago. To be honest I was surprised when the club said they start children at 4 years old. I have done martial arts for many years and I thought 4 was very young. However, I was wrong and Max is loving every second of it and has SO MUCH fun. He is learning all the basics and I am hoping he will keep progressing.Everyone is very friendly and always feel welcome.Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have two children who are members of this gym. The facility is brand new and the classes are always busy. The teachers are all highly competent and very experienced BJJ practitioners. They have a wealth of experience competing & they also understand how to direct and teach their students In order to get the best results possible.Both my children were reticent on going when they first joined, now they look forward to each and every class in order to further their skills whilst instilling discipline, respect and good values.Academies like this will make an immense impact in the lives of all that attend. I am so glad to see my two and every other student develop and broaden their skills!!!

Awesome gym. Everyone is friendly and approachable. The staff are amazing and will go above and beyond.If you're a beginner and thinking about starting, or you are looking to carry on training, this is the place to come!

Great atmosphere, great mix of all ages. Excellent teaching on self defense plus young people learning discipline and respect.

My son has been attending Gracie Barra Cannock for around 7 months, in this time his self confidence has grew massively, not only in jiu jitsu but in all areas. Initially he was very apprehensive about entering the classes but this wasn't an issue, as the whole team where very friendly and patient until he felt comfortable. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the facilities and coaching on offer are world class.

Absolutely fabulous Gracie Barra Cannock and WS1 couldn't recommend enough. Thank you for teaching, supporting and encouraging our son. Not just juijitsu but skills for life, he will carry discipline, manners and pride in all that he does. Thank you for sharing your passion and values and welcoming us into the extended family. I joined Gracie Barra Cannock 2 months ago and I am absolutely loving my jujitsu journey there!! The academy is beautiful, clean and very welcoming. I love the fact that it is a family run business who are the most down to earth lovely people. From day 1, I have been made to feel welcome and part of the team. I also love the fact that there is a big ladies team there who are all awesome training partners and lovely people. In my experience of jujitsu so far, it has helped me to build more confidence in myself, connect with others in a way that you only get from rolling around on a mat with somebody, and it has give me to skills to look after myself, should I ever need them. Honestly, if you are looking to start your martial arts journey but don’t know what to do or where to go, I highly recommend Gracie Barra Cannock! You ll soon become addicted & won’t look back! Gret

In my opinion, this is the ONLY place to be for BJJ. Look absolutely no further, Everyone is friendly, welcoming and ready to help each other learn.

Absolutely brilliant. My whole family train here and love it. For my 5 year old little girl in the tiny champions and my 9 year old boy in the more advanced juniors it is just a fantastic experience.A great family and team environment throughout the whole club. Multiple high level black belts coaching the adults and children. I cant speak highly enough about our experience.
