Chiddingly Parish Ch - A Church Near You | We are a friendly Village Church in the heart of the East Sussex Countryside. We are joined with the Parishes of East Hoathly and Framfield and share a Priest. There is a 10am Parish Eucharist celebrated on most Sundays and you can expect a warm welcome if you joined us!

Chiddingly Church
Chiddingly Church is a lovely and typical English village church with a tall stone steeple and clock. It has eight bells, the tenor is over eight hundred weight. Even on a warm day it's very cold inside. It's a photographers delight inside with a beautiful organ. Quite a large church considering the size of the village. Information pamphlets are available for a small donation. Open to the public most of the time with a large car park next to it. Only a short walk from the Six Bells pub that serves lovely food.

Great Church, Amazing Choir, Fantastic Organ, Lovely Refreshments I must say so myself I loved visiting this church last Sunday and meeting everyone, I hear there is lunches once and a while, when do these happen and when as I'd love to attend one of these.Ben Dover

Didn’t have an opportunity to go inside and visit; sadly, door was locked. However, had lunch sat in churchyard and heard the midday church bells.

Chiddingly Church
Lovely traditional small rural parish church. A bit rough round the edges (collapsing fences and an organist who leads you in unexpected and mysterious directions) but full of character and history and with a wonderful variety of wildlife in the churchyard. Sadly my last two visits there have been to funerals but it is as important to the village as is the pub opposite.
